Chapter 4 - Season 2

Start from the beginning

"Look you got us alright? It's not like we can go anywhere is it. The least you can do is tell us what you want with us" I pushed with a raised brow as the female vampire looked at me.

"I personally want nothing, I'm just a delivery service" she responded with a shrug, I was already bored with this back and forth but not having much of a choice I carried on anyway.

"To who? Elijah?" Elena asked mirroring my stance.

"Two points to the eavesdropper" the vampire mocked slightly. Which only served to piss me off.

"Who is he anyway? Is he a vampire" I ask, deciding to sift through the many books in the house.

"He's one of the vampires. The originals" that made me pause. Of course I'd heard the stories of them growing up. But I never put much thought into them, they were just stories to me.

"What do you mean the originals?" Elena asked, I looked up and caught the female vampires eye, though she knows that I know, she doesn't give me away.

"Again with the questions. Haven't the Salvatore's been teaching you your vampire history".

"So you know Stefan and Damon" Elena surmised.

"I know of them, a hundred years ago my friend tried to set me up with Stefan. Said he was one of the good ones. I'm more of a sucker for the bad boys though, I digress" the female vampire spared a quick glance at me before continuing with blocking the windows.

"Who are the Originals?" Elena asked again.

"Trevor and I have been running for 500 years. We're tired, we want it over. We are using you two to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess" the female vampire explained.

"But why us?" Elena asked.

"Because you the Petrova doppelganger, you're the key to breaking the curse. Your friend over there is the soulmate to two of them" the female vampire said.

"What's your name?" I asked, tilting my head.

"Rose. My friend is Trevor" Rose said softly, I nodded my head and let my eyes roam around the room.

"The curse? You mean the sun and the moon curse?" Elena asked, I furrowed my eyebrows, no one had told me about a curse.

"Oh so you do know your history" Rose muttered sarcastically.

"What do you mean I'm the key. The moonstone is what breaks it".

"Actually the moonstone binds the curse" I said correcting Elena. I hate it when people get witch stuff wrong.

"Sacrifice is what breaks it, the blood of the doppelganger. You're the doppelganger so in order to break the curse, you're the one that had to die" Rose said. Me and Elena looked at each other. She looked terrified; I mean rightfully so; I would be if I was in her position.

"Tell me more" Elena pushed, apparently she hadn't heard enough yet.

"Captivity has made her pushy eh. What do you want to know doppelicious" I barked out a laugh at the nickname Trevor had provided for Elena. I took the board off Trevor with my magic and attached it to the window to stop him from burning himself....again. "Thank you" Trevor shot me a grateful look to which I nodded in return. I don't hold anything against them, they just want to be free.

"Who were you running from?" I rolled my eyes at Elena; she has already had this question answered.

"The Originals" after helping Trevor put up the last board while he answered Elena he came and leant against the table next to where I was stood.
