Lauren's pov:

" love you bye." I said kissing my dad on the cheek and hugging him.
We were going to be staying in the house we did last time, and it's 7:40, we want to get rylee to bed soon.

" nice seeing you." Jason shook my fathers hand.
" bye Tyler." I yelled back to his room.
He came out and gave me a hug then went back to his room with his girlfriend.

" alright let's go rylee, come on karma!" Jason yelled.
" you can keep the dog here for a while, you'll have a lot on your hands with that little cutie, just keep the pups here." My dad said opening his front door.
" you sure it's okay?" I asked.
" yeah for sure!" He said with a smile.
" thank you, come on rylee!" Jason said.

Soon enough rylee came running in.

" I don't want to go!" She said pouting.
" well I guess we are just going to have to get icecream ourselves then Jason," I said looking at him.
" yeah since rylee doesn't want to come."

" icecream?" Rylee said. Walking over.
" oh yeah. We are getting icecream but you don't want to come." Jason said opening the door for me to walk out.

" I wanna come!" She said jumping.
" alright come on let's go!" I said holding my hand out for her.
" Yayyyy!" She ran towards me and grabbed my hand.

" bye dad."
We all left and went to get dinner and then the promised icecream.

" you ready for bed?" Jason asked rylee.
" no!" She said stomping down on the ground.
" rylee you have to go to bed." I said walking down the hallway.
" I want to stay up and play! I'm not tired." She crossed her arms.
" I got this." Jason said whispering in my ear.

I turned around and went to our room.
Before I went in the room I saw Jason playing around with rylee then picking her up.
I got changed then went to Rylees room but stopped at the doorway.

" I was a hot mess in my Sunday best black tears in my eyes,

Jason sung rylee to sleep.
He kissed the top of her head and turned around and saw me standing there.

He smiled and nodded his head.
" oh shit." He laughed closing rylee's door.
" what?"
" you heard me sing." He laughed scratching his head.

" so?"
" I sounded bad." He laughed going into our room.
" shut up. You know you sounded good." I said jumping onto the bed.

" you sing better."
" now you're lying." I laughed as he took his shirt off.
" I would never." He said winking and crawling in bed.
" yeah. Never." I said facing him.

He looked worried.
" Jason are you okay?" I asked playing with hair.
" huh? Yeah I'm fine." He said looking away.
" don't worry. We will get your mom."

" what if it's different though." Jason said
" what do you mean?"
" what if he just kills her or what if something happens to her? I can't do anything because I don't want rylee to be in the middle of it all. "

" don't think that Jason! He won't. If he wants anyone dead it's me."
" I doubt it. I just worry cause I don't know if he has his own gang or just redhawk as his gang. I don't think he's part of redhawk. I think that we might have gotten ourselves involved with a whole new gang."

" didn't we kill the rest of redhawk from the explosion?" I asked.
" if we did, who has my mother?"
" I don't know. This is just all too confusing.its late and has been a long day. We are safe and I just want to go to sleep." I said closing my eyes.

"I'm sorry princess. Goodnight i love you." Jason kissed my forehead and put his arm around me.

" coming I'm coming!" The doorbell was ringing like crazy.
I ran down the stairs almost falling, and opened the door.
It was bright really bright like white, then Gale appeared.
" you can't listen to them." He let himself in and walked up the stairs.

" what do you mean?" I followed him up the stairs to the living room,
" jake and Paul. They are messing with your head. I know where they are. I can't tell you though."
" know where who are?"
" I know where Pattie is and Michael and I know a lot just-" I heard a scream and looked at gale.

" you need to remember, don't run from your fear, but don't listen to them."
" wait gale where is she!?!" I said trying to grab him but he was out.

" hah didn't like that feeling I guess." Jake came walking up.
" how did you get in here?"
" you didn't really lock the front door so..."
" well you got in you can get right back out." I said pointing to the down stairs.
" oh okayyy I guess you don't want me to tell you where Pattie is..." He got up.
" wait!"he stopped and turned around.

I saw evil fill his eyes.
" why should I trust you?"
" do you think I would be here right now? I mean you put a fucking gun to my face." He said walking towards me.
" just answer my question."
" because I know where Michael and Pattie are. It might be hard for you to believe but I'm an angel. "
" you're kidding right? I thought you'd be dead in hell a long time ago." I said laughing.

" alright I'm leaving."
" no wait I'm sorry." I said stopping laughing.
" okay. Whatever. So Michael is leaving Pittsburgh. He's going to Cali."
" why?"

" oh no." Jake looked down the stairs.
" wait jake is Michael part of redhawk."
" no, I have to go Paul's coming. Wasn't supposed to tell you anything." Jake then disappeared.

All of a sudden it felt cold and scary.

Paul's coming.

I heard his foot steps from miles away.

" Jason?" I called his name out breathing heavily.
I didn't want to but I ran.
When someone terrorized you for a year you learn to stay away from them, especially if this negative energy is coming from them.

I finally stopped and turned around,

Mistake

he was right there.
" uhhh." My eyes flew open and I let out a deep breathe.
" hmm what's wrong?" Jason whispered in a raspy voice.
" Michael has your mom." I whispered catching my breath.
" baby just go back to sleep, you were having a dream." Jason said opening one eye sleepily.
" no Jason I think it's real." I said sitting up.

The clock said 5:45.
I haven't woken up this early on my own in four years when It was first day being a freshman.

" princess, it's early and you just woke up. Just try to go back to sleep before rylee or your dad or someone try's to wake us up." Jason said stroking my cheek.

" ugh. Fine." I'm mad because I have a gut feeling I'm having these dreams for a reason.
" don't give attitude just.. Go to... Slee-" Jason fell back asleep.

I wasn't tired enough to fall back asleep so I very very quietly got up, didn't wake Jason up... Which is very impressive on my behalf.
I went to the living room and sat there thinking.

Then it sparked me.
I picked my phone up and looked at the date.
It's December 20th.

Christmas is in 5 days.
