"So... what happened with you guys?"
"Well, Master Yu definitely wasn't meant to be my teacher, so we went to this earthbending tournament-"
"And we met the BOULDER!!!" Sokka, who clearly knew the most important part, interrupted Aang.
"...We met the BOULDER, and also a super strong blind earthbender. She's the one who's meant to teach me. Now, we've got to find the Beifong family." Aang explained, calling Appa over. You all hopped into his saddle, as Aang exclaimed, "Yip yip!"

The four of you snuck towards a large gate with a flying boar crest placed upon it. "That's the flying boar from my vision. Come on!" Aang whispered, leading you all into the courtyard.
You focused for any danger and immediately sensed an attack coming from the ground. You lept into the air, dodging the attack. You looked around, but you couldn't see anyone. Then, out of nowhere, something struck you from behind, sending you flying into a rose bush.
"What are you doing here, Twinkle Toes!?" The girl demanded an answer, ready to fight if necessary. "How did you know it was me?" Aang muttered, surprised. "How did you find me?" The girl replied, untrusting.
"Well, a crazy king told me I had to find an earthbender who listens to the Earth. And then I had a vision in a magic swamp-" The girl had a look of disbelief on her face, so Katara decided to cut in, "What Aang is trying to say is, he's the Avatar. And if he doesn't master earthbending soon, he won't be able to defeat the Firelord."
"Not my problem." She began to walk away, "Now get out of here or I'll call the guards."
"That's a shame. There'd be a ton of dorks to beat up. Imagine how fun that'd be." You sighed. "Beating up dorks does sound fun... But I'm not going with you guys."
"We all have to do our part to win this war, and yours is to teach Aang earthbending." Katara declared, walking towards the girl. "Guards! Guards, help!" She cried.
You all scattered the moment a guard entered the scene. "Toph, what happened?" A guards asked. So her name is Toph...?
After the guards and Toph left the courtyard, Aang flew over to you, Sokka, and Katara. "I have an idea."

Aang decided to do what he probably should've done from the start, and waltzed on over to the Beifong's doorstep, telling the guards he was the Avatar.
Then you were invited to dinner.
You wanted to listen to what was going on, but had to focus on smacking Sokka's hand away from your food and preventing Katara from collecting your food tax.
"Allow me." Aang used his airbending to form a tiny whirl of wind into Toph's cup. "Avatar Aang, it is an honor to have you visit us." The woman, who you assumed to be Toph's mother, said. "In your opinion, how much longer do you think this war will last?" The man, most likely Toph's father, asked.
"I would like to defeat the Firelord by the end of summer, but I can't do that without finding an earthbending teacher first." Aang looked directly at Toph, who furrowed her eyebrows in annoyance.
"Well, Master Yu is the finest war earthbending teacher in the land. He's been teaching Toph since she was little." Master Yu had a small grin on his face. Clearly, he was a very humble man.
"Then she must be a great earthbender! Probably good enough to teach someone else!" Toph sent a rod of stone at Aang below the table. "Ow!" He yelled. You chuckled, earning a slight glare from Aang and a smirk from Toph, which vanished as soon as it appeared.
