"I try not to think about it. Oh, and that hurricane wasn't made by m-" You placed your hand over Aang's mouth, a smile plastered on your face.
"General Fong, we are honored to be in your presence, but I must ask, why haven't we been given our escort to Omashu? Is there something you'd like to discuss?"
Katara and Sokka gave you a disturbed look. "I knew you had a split personality!" He whispered.
"Yes, yes. Avatar Aang, you're ready to face the Firelord now." Your eyes widened. "What!? No I'm not!" Aang exclaimed.
"Aang still needs to master all four elements." Katara stated, trying to reason with General Fong. But he wouldn't listen. "Why? With the kind of power he possesses, power enough to destroy hundreds of battle ships in a matter of minutes, he could defeat the Firelord now!"
"No." You stood up, glaring at General Fong. "The Firelord is ruthless. Even if Aang were in the Avatar state, he hasn't mastered control over it. If Aang walked over to the Firelord's doorstep without the proper training, there's no doubt he'd be dead where he stands."
"So it's decided then. I'll help him figure out how to get into the Avatar state, and then he'll face his destiny." General Fong replied. "No, nothing's decided. We already have a plan. Aang's pursuing his destiny his way." Katara argued, rising.
"Well, while you take your time learning the elements, the war goes on. May I show you something?" General Fong led Aang towards a window. "That's the infirmary. And those soldiers are the lucky ones. They came back. Every day, the Fire Nation takes lives. People are dying, Aang! You could end it now. Think about it."
"The only thing that'd be ending is his life." You mumbled, shaking your head.

"I told General Fong I'd help him by going into the Avatar state." Aang muttered. You and Katara whipped your heads around in shock. "Aang, no! This isn't the way!" Katara declared. "Why not? Remember when he took out the Fire Navy? It was incredible!" Sokka said, defending Aang's decision.
"There's a right way to do this. Practice, study, and discipline!" Katara huffed. "Or just glow it up and stop that Fire Lord." Sokka shrugged. "If you two meat heads want to throw away everything we've worked for, fine. Go ahead and glow it up!" Katara left the room, upset.
"Katara, I'm just trying to be realistic! I don't have time to do this the right way!" Aang let out a sigh, conflicted on what to do.
"Hey, Y/N? Do you seriously believe in the Firelord's power over Aang's? Heck, you could fight him too!" Sokka said.
"Aang is a powerful bender, but so is the Firelord. If Aang masters the Avatar state and immediately goes to fight the Fire Lord, it's just... Too much of a risk. He should master all forms of bending first." You noticed Aang furrowing his eyebrows, even more agitated.
"But that's just my input. You should try to master the Avatar state, but make sure you think long hard about helping Fong." You smiled, patting his shoulder. You walked out the room, taking one last glance at Aang.
You were worried.

You figured that you'd spend some time alone while Aang figured himself out. You found a large mountain surrounded by golden flowers. It was in a pretty rundown area, vines were covering every manmade building in sight. You walked through the tall grass and mossy forest until you came across an isolated structure.
