Chapter Fifty-Five

(8:30am)

The door slams open and in rushes Joe,

"BABY...BABY, IM SO....."

He stops dead and looks around and it clicks to him when he seen the candles.

"Ry Ry baby...."

I didn't even want to sit up and dignify he was even there, but I know he would be persistent. I sighed and crawled out the rumpled comforter.

"What do you want Joe?"

"Baby Girl I'm so sorry."

"It's whatever, I don't know why I thought you actually keep your word and come home early."

I stopped for a minute and looked around the room was covered in candles, A bottle of wine and two glasses sat on the dresser, and it clicked. She set up a night for us because I said I be home and I didn't.

"Ryder...baby what's all this?"

"What do you think it is Joesph? I planned this entire night for us, and you just didn't show up."

"I'm so sorry, you have no idea, we got tied up after the fitting with some tour prep. But I promise I don't have anything to do today, so how about I grab a quick nap and then the rest of the day it's you me and the baby."

"Oh...that's great now it just looks like you are going to have to find something to do, because I have no interest in it."

I watched her throw the blanket off her and I see she had on the sexiest lingerie ever as she stormed into the bathroom slamming the door. I know I fucked up and I get why she is upset but I got to get her to listen to me. I sat for a minute and heard the shower turn on in the bathroom. Well, I mine as well go in and say something. I pushed the door open and there she stood at the counter gripping it, and I see the tear slip out. I knew what I wanted to say until I stepped in and seen her like this. I walked over she didn't even realize I was there. My hands grabbed her waist pulling her around to face me,

"Joe....."

I pressed my lips against hers softly and whispered, "I'm sorry". Her arms wrapped around my neck holding me close and I feel a soft kiss on it. I couldn't help but let out a soft moan and she heard right away.

"Really..."

"What, I miss it?"

"I'm sure but come on I need a shower give me a few minutes."

"I have a better idea...."

He stepped back reaching for the hem of his white tee-shirt pulling it over his head dropping it to the floor and he reached for the button on his pants.

"What are you doing?"

"Getting in with you....."

"no, you're not."

"Come on baby I want to spend some time with you."

"Uhuh....."

I reached out and ran my hand over the lace and she shuddered, I couldn't help but smile in satisfaction. I know all the ways to touch her that will make her body scream for me. She looked up at me innocently and bit her lip as I pushed her strap down. I kissed each of her shoulders and I reached behind her unhooking the material that is standing in my way. The breath caught in her throat as she reached for the zipper of my pants as she looked up at me innocently.
