"You're a universe warper bender person?" Aang exclaimed. You shrugged. "And you're a water bender!?" Aang stared at Katara with admiration. "Well, sort of. Not yet." Katara rubbed the back of her neck. "Alright, no more playing. Come on, the both of you have chores to do." Gran-gran said, leading the two of you away from Aang.

"I told you he's the real thing Gran-gran! I finally found a bender to teach me!" Katara exclaimed cheerfully. "Actually, I need to say something about that kid." You mumbled. "Huh? What's wrong?" Katara asked. "He's an airbender. And earlier, when I got that headache, it was because something, or someone with a lot of power was overwhelming me. Don't you think Aang might be the Avatar?" You questioned. "He said he wasn't, but... Maybe he needed a moment to see if he could trust us. I'll ask him about it later." Katara glanced at Aang, who was showing airbending tricks to the children.

"Y/N, Katara, try not to put all your hopes in that boy." Kanna said. "But he's definitely special! I can tell!" Katara gave Aang a final look before shutting her eyes and clenching her fist with a hope filled smile. "I sense he's filled with great wisdom." You let out a hum at Katara's words and entered the house, preparing to do your chores.

If Katara and Sokka found Aang out while you three were fishing, and no one has seen an airbender for a hundred years, while Aang still looks like he's pretty young... "That boy is definitely unique."

You had finally finished all your chores and exited your home. "Gosh, nowadays it feels like I'm the only one who does work around here." You sighed, looking up. But then you saw... A flare. A signal to the Fire Nation. You began to hyperventilate and ran back inside.

No, no, no ,no. This isn't happening. It can't be happening. Had they found you? Had they found out about Katara's water bending? Would you be killed just like...

You slammed your eyes shut and took a deep breath. You won't allow anyone to harm your family, or the village, ever again. You stood up, clenching the plastic butter-fly in your hand. You would fight. Sokka was skilled with weapons, but you had one large advantage. Lso Enoette.

You walked outside to see a heated argument going on between Sokka and Aang. "Yeah! We were on the ship and there was this booby trap, and, well..." Aang looked down at the ground with guilt, "We boobied right into it."

"Katara, you shouldn't have gone on that ship! Now we could all be in danger." Gran-gran panicked. "Don't blame Katara. I brought her there. It's my fault." Aang stated. "Aha! The traitor confesses! Warriors, away from
the enemy. The foreigner is banned from our village!" Sokka yelled. "Sokka, you can't be serious." You said, walking out of the crowd. "I am serious!" Sokka stated.

"Aang took ownership of his actions and didn't mean to hurt anyone. If the Fire Nation does attack, he's an airbender who could help us fight or evacuate! He's just a kid! What do you expect him to do if you kick him out of here?" You argued.

"What do you think will happen if the Fire Nation comes here, Y/N!? You'd be in danger! And I'm not losing you again." Sokka said, his voice cracking a little. You stared at Sokka in shock. "Sokka..."

"You're making a mistake!" Katara exclaimed. "No. I'm keeping my promise to Dad." Sokka raised his arm, pointing to Aang, "I'm protecting you from threats like him! I'm protecting everyone with this decision." Sokka retorted.

"Aang is not our enemy! Don't you see? Aang has brought us something we haven't had in a long time. Fun." Katara huffed."We can't fight the Fire Nation with fun, Katara!"
"Katara, I don't want to come between you and your family." Aang mumbled.
"So... You're leaving the South Pole?" Katara's voice softened, "This is... Goodbye?"

Looking to the side, Aang hopped onto Appa's head using airbending. "Thank you for penguin sledding with me." The two continued to talk before Aang eventually left.

"Katara, I'm sure you'll feel better after you-", Whipping her head around Katara interrupted Gran-gran. "You happy now!? There goes my ONE chance of being a water bender!" She marched away angrily. "..." Kanna let out a sigh. "Don't worry, Gran-gran. I'll talk to her." You said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "No. There's no time to chat. The Fire Nation will surely attack, and we must be prepared for whatever may occur." Kanna sighed. "Got it." Sokka said, gathering up a few villagers.

"Y/N, you should head home. The fire benders might notice you. I know you probably want to fight, especially since you're getting better at bending. But leave this to me, okay?" He asked. "I'm not a little kid anymo-" He raised his hand and shook his head. "Please." You let out a sigh and nodded.

Did he not trust you enough? Or was it the fear... The fear you might get captured again. But only this time... You wouldn't survive?

...Either way... You couldn't really blame him.
