The next day was pretty intense. Matteo came into my room and said that Vincenzo wants to talk to me.
I was in my pajama shorts and top, but I didn't want to freeze so I put on oversized hoodie. It was Santino's, but now it's mine.
Matteo was still waiting for me in the doorway as I walked past him he tickled me and I accidentally punched him in the face.
"Lissy, what's the matter with you?" Matteo said as he touched his nose to check if it's not bleeding
It was bleeding.
"It's your fault. You tickled me and that's my response to someone tickling me." I said as I threw my hands in the air
"Gosh, you little witch." he said as we walked downstairs
He led me to Vincenzo's office and he knocked on the door. I stood there awkwardly.
"Come inside." he said and Matteo opened door for me
"What happened to your nose, Matteo?" Vincenzo asked as he raised his eyebrows
"She punched me." Matteo said as he pointed his index finger at me
"Lissy, did you punch your brother?" Vincenzo asked shocked and I nodded slowly
"He tickled me, I couldn't help it." I said as I shrugged my shoulders
"That's right, don't tickle our little sister. And you..." he said as he pointed his finger at me "You can't punch your brother." he added
"It's your fault." I said as I pushed Matteo and he hit his shoulder against the doorframe lightly
"Lissy." Vincenzo warned me in his strict voice
"You wanted to talk to me?" I asked as I walked towards him until someone pushed me from behind and I fell on the floor
"What's the matter with you, Matteo?" Vincenzo shouted as he stood up and rushed towards me
It wasn't that serious, but my knee hurt a little bit.
"You okay?" Vincenzo asked as he helped me up
"My knee. It hurts." I said as I started to tear up
"Lissy, I..." Matteo started and Vincenzo looked at him furiously
"I'm sorry." Matteo apologized and Vincenzo pointed at the door as he angrily said "Leave, now!"
Matteo walked out of the office and I stood there while tears streamed down my cheeks.
"Lissy, baby. It will be okay." Vincenzo said and I shook my head
"It hurts more and more with every passing second." I said as I looked at my knee
"Come here, sweetheart." Vincenzo said as he easily picked me up and took me to the couch in front of us
He sat down and I was in his lap as he petted my head. He gently rubbed my knee and I don't know how that was possible, but it hurt less than it did before.
