Giovanni left and I was sitting in the office right in front of Vincenzo. I couldn't tell if he was mad or not, but I knew that I had to apologize...
"Vincenzo, I wanted to apologize...what I did was wrong and stupid...I should have told you that it was a painkiller..." I said as I looked down
"Lissy, how are you feeling?" he asked me in a worried manner
"Umm, I'm better, but my headache is still bothering me." I lied...
"Giovanni will take you to Domenico." Vincenzo said as he looked at his phone
"To the clinic he's working at?" I asked curiously
"Yes. Somewhere like that." Vincenzo said
"Okay...but what they will do with me?" I asked concerned about my bruised body, what if they see
"He's a doctor, I'm not...you will ask him." Vincenzo said harshly
"Okay. Can I go now?" I asked awkwardly
"No, I wanted to talk about Miguel." Vincenzo said
No, no, not now...I need to lie again...fuck...
"What you wanted to know?" I asked as I tried to keep myself together
"How was he treating you?" Vincenzo asked curiously
"Umm...umm...he was treating me like his own daughter somehow." I lied...gladly I'm not a Pinocchio...
"Okay...good." Vincenzo said as he checked my reaction
"Can I go now?" I asked awkwardly, while hoping that he would just stop asking about that asshole, who abused me
"Yes." Vincenzo calmly said as he weirdly looked at me
I think they have noticed my flinching, lying and not answering to their questions directly...but maybe it's just me who thinks like that.
"Thank you, bye..." I said quietly and awkwardly knowing that he won't answer me
"Bye, Lissy." Vincenzo said, I was shocked, but that warmed my heart...
He was kind and calm...nothing like Miguel. I think he is just trying to act harshly so I would respect him, but I already respect him...he is my eldest brother!
"Lissy, listen to your brothers, okay?" he asked as he looked at me as I was walking out of the office
"I will." I said as I smiled
I closed the office door and walked to the kitchen...there was sitting Giovanni. He was typing something in his phone.
"Vincenzo said that you will take me to Domenico." I said as I sat on the chair next to counter
"Yes, I will. You have to eat something before we go." Giovanni said as he looked at me
"But I-" I started and he interrupted
