3 1/2 months since the mairrage-

Taehyung's POV:

The humid air enveloped me as I stepped out of the sleek black sedan, my eyes scanning the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro. Brazil had always intrigued me with its rich culture and lively atmosphere, but today was different. I was here on business with my father.

We entered a dimly lit establishment, the sound of samba music mingling with the clinks of glasses. The atmosphere was tinged with an air of secrecy, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of uneasiness, this isn't something that i like to do rather I'm bound to do.

We spotted our contact, a tall and imposing figure leaning against the bar. His name was Eduardo, a man known for his connections in the underworld. My father approached him, exchanging a firm handshake.

"Good to see you, Eduardo," my father greeted, his voice laced with authority. "We've come to discuss the shipment of guns and rifles."

Eduardo's eyes darted between us, his gaze shrewd and calculating. "You're looking for a smooth delivery, Mr. Kim. I've got you covered."

I leaned against the bar, my heart pounding. This was a crucial moment for our operation, and I needed to make sure everything went according to plan or else we might end up no where.

"Two weeks," I interjected, trying to sound confident. "We need the supply in Korea within two weeks."

Eduardo smirked, his tone laced with amusement. "Young Taehyung, always in a hurry. Don't worry, we'll handle it. But remember, patience is key."

I nodded, taking in his words. Patience had never been my strongest virtue, but I understood the importance of maintaining composure in the world of clandestine dealings.

With the details settled, my father and Eduardo delved into further discussions, their voices hushed and cryptic. I observed, absorbing the intricate dance of power and secrecy that unfolded before me.

As the night grew darker, our meeting came to a close. We bid farewell to Eduardo, his parting words echoing in my mind.

"Taehyung, tread carefully in this world we navigate. Trust only those who've proven their loyalty. Your destiny lies in the choices you make."

I couldn't help but feel a mixture of anticipation and unease as we stepped back into the bustling streets of Brazil.

As my father and I parted ways, I made my way back to the hotel, my mind still filled with the weight of our business dealings. I entered my room and closed the door behind me, seeking solace in the familiar surroundings.

Feeling the ache of separation, I reached for my phone and dialed Y/N's number. After a few rings, she answered, her voice bringing a sense of comfort.

"Hey, Y/N," I greeted, my tone softening. "How's your day been?"

Y/N's voice carried a hint of excitement. "It's been good, Taehyung. I went shopping with soojin for the babies daycare stuff and we found the cutest little thing's. How about you? How's Brazil?"

A pang of guilt tightened in my chest. I wanted to share my burdens with her, but I knew the risks involved. Instead, I kept the conversation light, discussing trivial topics and making her laugh.

As we exchanged playful banter, a voice emerged from within me, my alter ego, V, speaking with a mix of concern and desperation.

"Taehyung, you know the bond you're building with Y/N is based on lies and uncertainty," V whispered, his words hauntingly sincere. "I love her, and I know you do too. But we can't be together because if I take over, everything will fall apart. I let you be with her because I don't want to harm her. But the truth is, your actions will lead to us losing her. And if I lose her because of you...well, you'll face the consequences. Remember, it won't be you dealing with it then anymore, but me."
