The next day, Shen Lie was on vacation and woke up early to cook a pot of shrimp congee and a large plate of scrambled eggs with scallions.

Dawa tilted his head. "Then when are we going to gather seafood? Which two days?"

"On my next day off," Shen Lie replied without hesitation.

"Let's agree on that," Ning Tang said. "If you don't take us to gather seafood on your next day off, I'll..."

"What will you do?" Shen Lie asked with a smile.

Ning Tang responded with a smile, "I won't wash the dishes. I'll leave all of them for you."

Shen Lie shrugged, "That's the only thing you can use to threaten me." He called out to Dawa, "Eldest, I didn't mention everything earlier. Last night, your Stepmom and I also discussed that she will be the one cooking from now on, making seafood fried noodles for you every day."

Dawa's eyes lit up. "Really, Stepmom?"

Ning Tang thought, "Bullshit!"

She swallowed the curse words and said, "I'm going upstairs to get something." After speaking, she quickly went upstairs.

Shen Lie watched her hurriedly leave and sneered, thinking, "She wants to challenge me."

After a while, Ning Tang came back downstairs with two pieces of cloth in her hands.

Shen Lie was surprised. "You really went upstairs to get something."

Ning Tang gave him a glare, glanced at the three children, and whispered to Shen Lie, "I went upstairs to get two pieces of cloth. I plan to sew a new clothes for Erniu. Look at what she's wearing, it's so short that her belly button is almost exposed. Don't you find it embarrassing?"
