Mayil(peacock), is a simple but naughty girl who lives with her parents in a small house, situated in a village. Most of the people who reside there give no importance to education but Mayil's father is a man who wants his daughter to be literate and intelligent.
However, Mayil has little to no interest in studies and fails her 10th grade, four times. Fed up with his daughter's scores, he gets her admitted to a tuition class provided by a 26-year-old, school teacher named Vetri.
