My chair clangs against the floor. I gasp, bracing myself on the table. My friends stare at me with wide eyes. I breathe out shakily, relaxing my figure.

My feet are on the floor. I'm okay. I'm alive. My heart is beating so fucking hard against my chest, but I'm alive. I want to seriously cry right now, but I won't. Just ignore what just happened.

"Don't ask," I say calmly, refusing to let my inner emotions get the best of me.

I stare at our second oldest, worriedly prodding with my eyes. He doesn't look at me once. We all kind of sit in silence until he reaches for a dish on the table. We return to our dinner, wondering if he would solely come to one of us and talk it out. My bet is on Jisung or Felix.

Those two always knew how to lighten the mood up or listen to someone.

But we must wait now. We don't know if it's really gone from all of us. Minho is just the beginning of the third round. We have to see if it goes back to Felix. If it does, we're fucked. If it doesn't, it's going to be one hell of a day for me.

"Mm, this is good, Channie hyung," Felix smiles, chewing his food happily.

The others nod in agreement. I grin. We'll be okay. This monster? It's harmless, as much as some people would disagree. We're going to be okay, no matter how long it takes to heal. We can get through this.

We're Stray Kids. We're family.

"Thanks, Lixxie."

"Anyone up for dessert? I could definitely go for something sweet," Changbin questions out loud, rubbing his tummy.

"Bin, we just started eating dinner."

"I meant after."

"Oh, my god," Seungmin facepalms.

"I'm down for ice cream," Jeongin nudges his elder, supporting the idea of dessert.

"Do you guys want to head out and get some? Or Jisung and I can go out and get it," Minho speaks up quietly, glancing at the younger.

"We can go, hyung. You guys can wait up. Maybe get the living room all comfy for a movie night?" Jisung suggests.

I nod. "We can do that. I'll give you my card."

"I've got it," the second eldest smiles, standing and taking his empty plate to the sink. "I'll go get ready."
