"Are you okay?" a little boy asked us.

What happened...?
We got pulled over by a cow... then we fell... and now we're here.

This boy... It's....

"Amane?"

I didn't mean to say it out loud, but I couldn't help but notice how much this kid looked like Hanako.

Luckily, he was too busy eating his snack and didn't hear me.
I wasn't so sure that it was him, but he looked like Amane...

"Yeah, we're okay." Nene-chan said to him.

Technically, though, we weren't okay.

"Where am I?! Where is everybody?!" She suddenly started asking in panic.

I took a look around me. It was very different from where we were before with Hanako and Kou.
The stalls were different, and what I noticed too was that... there were no strange creatures. Only humans.

"Uhm, excuse me... can I ask you something... what's today's date?"

"Good question..." I added.

The little kid pointed to a little calendar that was nearby.

"Star festival poster... 1964?"

"Wait, did you just say-"

"1964?! THAT'S THE SHOWA ERA!!"

Oh god...
Who would've guessed that we went back in time...

"How... how do I get back..." Nene-chan mumbled.

"Don't worry... we will find a way back..."

'we should ask the kid what he knows about this place' I said in my mind.

"Oneesan, are you lost?" The boy asked us.
I slightly shook my head, but he didn't seem to notice.

"There's a lost children centre somewhere near the bamboo tree, should I take you there?" He asked us.

"I'm going to now to hang this anyway.." He said, while pointing to his red tag in his hands.

"A red tag...!!" I exclaimed.

Nene-chan quickly looked at his tag.
It was our missing tag from the ones we collected with Hanako and Kou. We've been searching for it for hours...

"Oneesan...?"

I turned around to check on my friend, but she disappeared.
Next thing I know, she went to the kid and grabbed him by his shoulders.

"That tag... how about giving it to me...?" She said with a menacing voice. I never saw Nene-chan being THIS scary...

"That-that red tag... I'd really appreciate if you give to me... so? please... I'll do anything."
