"dick!" you yelled at dew, grumbling at how happy his laugh sounded as he ran away.

you rolled your eyes, storming off to the hallway that the ghoul's rooms were on, going straight for rain's room.

you walked right in, scaring the water ghoul.

"satan, y/n, learn how to knock!" rain groaned, sitting back on his bed. you closed his door behind you, mimicking him as you walked over and fell onto his bed.

"are you okay?" rain asked after a few moments. you groaned into the mattress, throwing a mini fit as you tossed all of your limbs around and whined.

rain stayed quiet, waiting for you to be done.

"do you wanna use your big girl words and tell me what the hell has you acting like this?" rain scoffed, pretending he was annoyed by you, even though he was a bit worried.

you rolled over, putting your head in rain's lap.

"dew is a prick." you stated, looking up at your brother. rain chuckled and nodded. "what did he do?" rain asked, placing his hand on your forehead and gently running his claws passed your horns and into your hair.

"he's been bothering me all morning, and the only reason i got him to go away is because i scratched him. he didn't even care! he just ran off laughing." you groaned. rain nodded, listening to you rant about the fire ghoul and how much you hated him when he acted the way he was.

"you should talk to aether about this. dew never really bothers me." rain chuckled. "that's because you're boyfriends." you stated, looking up at him. "no we're not," rain rolled his eyes. you grumbled, looking back to the ceiling.

the two of you sat in silence for a few moments before you spoke up, gaining the attention of your brother again.

"i came to you because i wanted my brother to comfort me and realize i need a fucking hug, or something." you mumbled, closing your eyes.

rain looked down at you, shocked by how soft you had gotten.

yesterday you were throwing marbles at him, saying that they were for his bathtub(which you called a fishbowl), but now you were being like this?

rain stared at your features, noticing a frown on your face.

satan, girls were confusing.

"come here," rain sighed, nudging your horn upward. "what?" you asked as you opened your eyes, looking up at him. "come here. i'm giving you a hug." rain stated, nudging your horn again, this time a bit more forcefully.

you sat up, quickly leaning into rain's arms as he held them out to you.

rain began petting your hair, resting his head on yours as a comforting silence took over the room.

"i'm sorry i threw marbles at you yesterday." you mumbled. rain rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "it's whatever." rain stated.

after a few minutes, you pulled away from the hug, looking up at your older brother. he smiled at you softly, gently flicking your horn. you grinned, looking down at your lap as you both continued to sit in silence.

"you wanna go bother the kitchen ghouls and see what's for dinner?"

"pfft- okay, yeah."
