Do You Want To Be My Girlfriend?

After we said our goodbyes to Davi, we silently watched as he was taking off in his father's private plane.

Truth is, I was quite heartbroken that I didn't get to spend more time with such a bright kid. I most certainly have no bad words to say about him or the way he was brought up and I'm glad that I was able to make a good impression too.

'Do you want to be my girlfriend?' Neymar bursted out, making me turn my head towards him instantly.

I didn't know what to say, so I just stared at him with a surprised and shocked expression.

'I know it's not the best place to ask you this and I know it isn't something big and planned...' he said shaking his head. 'But seeing you with Davi and seeing how much he likes you...' he said looking away. 'Irina, I can't imagine my life without you.' his eyes met mine.

In an instant I kissed him, not letting him say anything else.

'Is that a yes?' he asked smirking, our foreheads pressed against eachother's.

'I don't need you to go all out, Ney.' I said chuckling. 'This, right here... it's perfect.' I smiled, sharing one more kiss with my new boyfriend.

Boyfriend.

Truth is, this was perfect. He done it when he felt like doing it and even though planning something seems more thoughtful, I feel like this moment was purely about how he felt right now.

'I kinda need to get back to work.' I said smiling.

'Yeah, let's go.'

We got into my car and drove to the training centre. We walked in and went our separate ways, Ney to the coach's office and me to mine.

As soon as I walked in, Luca rushed towards me and hugged me excitedly.

'Congratulations!'

'What?' I asked confused.

'You're officially a girlfriend.' he said laughing.

'How do you know that?'

Luca looked at me with a do you even know anything look on his face and shoved his phone in my face.
