Yosuke's POV:

"Hey, where'd he go?" Yukiko frowns.

"Holy shit, dude," Kanji stumbles, holding his head. "I think I'm dyin'."

"Oh, be quiet," Rise slaps him on the back of his head.

"Hmm??" Teddie looks around. "Sensei? Sensei????!"

"Cover your ears," I warn.

"SENSEIIIIII!!!"

"Shut it up!!" Chie groans, her fingers in her ears.

"You fool," Naoto sighs. "He's over there."

"H-he got ice cream without me??" Teddie stutters, turning to see.

"Oh," Yukiko says. "Shin-san is with him, too."

"...What?" I turn to look. Sure enough, the two of them sit opposite one another, sharing an ice cream.

Well, shit. So much for being hopeful.

"Let's go see them," Rise says.

"N-nah, don't," I sigh.

"Hm? Why not?"

"They're clearly busy," I shrug. "It's best to leave them be."

"Think they're on a date?" Chie asks.

"Ha, probably," I mutter.

"Cheer up, Yosuke!" Teddie smiles. "Let's go crash that date!"

"What?!" I say, startled. But he's already running off towards them.

"S-stop him!" Naoto urges.

"Wh- what the hell'd you want me to do?!" I snap.

"He's your goddamn bear!!" Chie shouts.

"Dammit, Teddie," I groan.

Yu's POV:

"Senseiiiii!!" A voice approaches us with great speed.

"Teddie?" I ask. "How was the ride?"

"You were having ice cream without me?!" He yells.

"Jesus, Yosuke," Shin groans. "Come get your bear."

"He isn't my bear, dammit," Yosuke sighs, pulling Teddie off the table.

The others are quick to follow.

"Hey! You left us!" Rise pouts.

"You were a long time," I shrug.

"That's no excuse," Yukiko frowns.

"Don't blame him," Shin says. "It was my idea to come over here."

"Why am I not suprised?" Yosuke mutters.

"Tell me, is this a date?" Naoto asks.

"N-Naoto!" Kanji scoffs. "Y-you can't just ask that!"

"Something like that," Shin smirks.

But the flirtatiousness in his voice prevents me from speaking out.

"Brilliant," Yosuke says. "Well, I'm heading back to the hotel. See ya."

"We're all going back together," I remind him.

"Just tell the teachers I went back alone, okay?"

"Don't be dramatic," Shin says. "Just stay here with your friends."

"My friends? They're more like your friends, at this point."

"No one can replace you," I say.

He pauses for a moment.
