The cold wind and magnificent night sky above us was calming, Zayn's head was still on my chest. I didn't feel uncomfortable, maybe a bit confused as to why he does this. Quite a few remarkable stars were up there and it was unusual for me because tonight the sky looked full of them. I never took my time like now to watch them as I had right this moment.

"Why were those men after you now?" I asked softly after a while still enthralled with star gazing until he sighed before hovering above me.

Since the full moon was shinning I can see his brown eyes pouring to mine preventing me from looking at the sky with his frowning face but soft stare.

"A lot of things happened since you were taken away." he growled getting himself worked up again. I frown.

His hand comes up to wipe some dry tears of mine that I hadn't noticed at all. While he flew of that cliff I was too terror-stricken to think about my emotional side. I thought he was dead but I don't want to think about how I possibly cried because of that.

"It wasn't even full twenty-four hours Zayn." I say back, he smirked."What?" I mumble.

"Yes but it was half a day I spent in that prison cell." he explained not answering the other question.

"You were in jail?" I can't help but laugh softly at that. He doesn't like it but only rolls his eyes, lightly smirking.

"Yes. But that's beside the point."

"No. No it's not." I tease giggling biting my lip so I don't laugh.

He scowled clenching his jaw irritated, "Yes it is. Anyway." he sternly said somehow threatening me. "Word goes around quickly among leaders and dealers. All of those fucks tried to steal my goods and potentially get my position." he explained rolling his eyes as if that wasn't even possible. "So they were on my ass for that. They knew I was arrested trying to take advantage to assail."

"You mean they wanted to kill you while they had a chance of you being powerless?" I asked disgusted by the vile way they do things, he hummed watching me intently. "Why risk yourself to get me?" I whispered, in which he avoided my eyes. Despite that he is treating me better, which confuses me more. Then he retrieved his phone that was poking from the pockets of the hoodie.

"Louis had immediately sent men to get me out while he hacked the security system of that jail." he ignored my question completely but I wasn't bothered because I was surprised he even is taking his time to explain me anything. "And then he took care of the traffic." What?

"Why traffic?" I asked lowly confused, my eyebrows scrunched up when his almond eyes frowned flickering I knew it would upset me.

"Because of your father." he replied and I gape before pushing his hand and him away from me, then standing up, walking away with stomping feet.

"Liv." he said annoyed I whisked around, glaring at him. "I know where he was all this time." he rasped quietly his eyes worried while running a hand through his messed up hair. The first time he is trying to be compassionate. Unfortunately for him I don't care. "I make fake leads so he can't find you." he came clean.

"So you made everything in your hands to not let him see me." I say hurt and then I pivot, letting him face my back. "You're that afraid of him huh?" I snapped not wanting to look at him, clenching my jaw and curling my hands in fists. I can hear him walk to me but I recoil.

"You'd wish. I did that for you." he shouted when I don't let him touch me.

I laugh humorlessly because if not then I'll get emotional, I can literally feel my lip trembling but I regain my composure quickly. Why would he do that and then tell me? Wouldn't his big ego get bruised by that? Since I'm back he's more confusing than he has ever been, he's more relaxed as well, letting me see his emotions all the while. And if he really wants to do something for me he should give me my freedom back.
