Summary: Y/n is quite the popular girl, playing football (soccer) and when she gets put beside a girl she doesn't remember seeing before, they progressively become friends and Y/n starts to figure out her sexuality a lot more clearly while Kate has been openly gay.

Y/n's POV:

I can't believe it, I really can't. Summers over and we're finally back at school, of course we are. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like school— well that's a lie, I do hate it. I hate it very, very much. But my classes aren't bad! Which is good as normally I hate all my classes but I looked and had an early start, 3 weeks before summer holidays, we start classes for our next year. Confusing. But you get used to it after a couple of days.

I head inside and look around to see my friends, not gonna lie, but they are all a little bitchy. A part from one who is barely ever in, who is:

"Angel!" I exclaim excitedly, I feel like I haven't seen her in forever, we were having to third and fourth wheel. She turns to me, a smile that I can tell might be a little fake but then again, we're all faking to get by these days. I head over to her first and sit beside her, "I've missed you." I tell her, she grins at this.

"I missed you too." Angel replies, I wrap my arm around her and she rests her head on my shoulder, I rest my head against hers and sigh contently. "Do you know what classes we have together?" She asks me, I pull my timetable out and show it to her, her taking a screenshot. "I'll probably learn this by Wednesday." She informs me; I laugh at this and nod my head, checking my first two periods and who I have for tutor / form. Some people call it form, others call it tutor and as you can tell, I'm one of those people. "Hey, we have the first two classes together." I can hear the excitement in her voice which makes me happy,

"Perfect. Wanna head to tutor?" I question, she nods her head and we both get up, saying bye to everyone and heading to tutor. We soon arrive and I see that there is a seating plan,

"Oh, fuck off." Me and Angel say in sync before looking over at one another and laughing, I look and see that me and Angel are at the same table but there is a person in between us. Kate Bishop— wait, what? Kate Bishop? Is she new? "'Kate Bishop'?" We both read out,

"Yeah?" I hear a girl say, we turn around and see a girl with Raven black hair; kinda tall, blue eyes and a cute smile.

"Hi..." I let out, she smiles at this in return.

"You sit between us." Angel states. Kate turns her eyes toward her and nods her head,

"Great... yeah, yeah, perfect." Kate hums out, she moves close and glances at our seats, we're up at the back in the middle. We head up to our desk and sit down, Angel going on her phone mumbling about how much she hates school and herself while Kate is just humming to a song and I'm on my phone, playing whatever video-game that I can with really shit Wi-Fi. "Oh, I love that game! I can't get passed level 26 though," I hear Kate say, I pause the game and turn to her to see her looking at my screen with a smile, I grin at this and look back, continuing to play and I hear Kate do the background noises that I'd normally do. It's cute hearing her get so excited whenever I manage to complete a level. "That car crashed into you! How is it your fault?" She complains,

"My thoughts exactly, I hate it so much." I groan out,

"Are you playing that Driving School 3D?" I hear Angel ask me, I nod my head lightly.
