Moon kept staring at Stone's moving lips but couldn't understand a thing coming out of it because all her mind was set on the wrestling. She didn't know what type of prayer that would Ocean win the fight except God himself comes down and beg Robert. Every passing second felt like a year and the minute felt like a decade of her life has been taken away by the ticking of the clock.
"Did you hear me?" Stone kicked her lightly and she glared at him
"Stone seriously what is the problem with you, what do you seriously want from me at this crucial point of my life?"
"I asked if you would share your chocolate-"
"I am glad I didn't"
"I have been begging you for the past three minutes?"
"He said fifteen minutes right? how many minutes has passed since the fight?"
"it has been seven minutes?"
"I swear it feels like seventy years right now"
"I know that feeling-"
"No you don't because you are not the one that Robert guy is going to be taking home tonight?"
"what if he is actually going to be the love of your life?"
"what do you mean?"
"you know some bet love stories, if Roberts wins the fight, then he will take you home and you both fall in love and start pumping babies everywhere-"
"Stone?"
"yes honey?"
"Do you by chance have your will prepared?"
"The only properties I have are my designers collections which my brother will inherit even though I know he would never wear them. No wait, actually, I will share them equally. I will give Bobby your stupid manager-
"How do you know Bobby is my manager?" Stone bit his tongue as he remembered that she doesn't know the owner of the company
"Bobby is your manager? woah....I am really a genius" Moon was about to open her mouth, but he immediately continued, making her swallow her words
"As I was saying before you interrupted me young woman, I will give twenty percent of the designers to my imaginary Bobby who you say is your manager, even though he said I almost killed him the last time. And I will also give that annoying Desmond 20 percent, and then I will give you 25 percent of them plus another 35 percent for Ocean because you will be wearing both"
"What about Sophia?"
"She will definitely get nothing for being rude to you, I can't believe her. I will definitely tell my brother to send her to the hospital whether she likes it or not"
"If she doesn't want to go then please let her stay. You know at times being sick pisses one off"
"fine if you say so, but I won't tolerate it next time just so you know."
"What type of clothes are you talking about" Moon immediately changed the topic as she didn't want to remember how Sophia embarrassed her earlier or even remember that Ocean isn't back
"Suits, blazers, shoes, snickers etc. I swear you won't look bad in men's wear. I can already imagine you in one of my oversized pink blazers, you will look so adorable and my brother will fall for you more." She smacked his chest and he laughed
"What is all this nonsense you're talking about?"
"All I am saying is that my will is ready, but it is not documented, so if you want to kill me you will have to wait for me to call my lawyer..Wait, we don't actually have a lawyer and-"
"Don't bother getting one because I promise to share the designers equally after I am done strangling you."
"oh come on, I know you can't kill your brother-in-law"
"Just say 'brother-in-law' one more time and I promise you that devil is going to wake you up in hell" She glared at him and waited for him to dare say another stupid thing that will make her kill him before Robert comes to take her
"are you trying to scare me....sister in-law?"
"You..." Moon was about to go for his neck when the door burst open, causing her to yelp and close her eyes tightly
"Hey love, missed me? I swear it didn't take up to fifteen minutes" She didn't want to open her eyes, just in case her ears were playing tricks on her
"I am done here, we can go home now" That voice, I swear it is him, why does he sound happy? Moon internally questioned herself not noticing that Ocean was standing in front of her
"Now you have less than five seconds to open those beautiful eyes if you don't want me to carry out of this place in front of everyone" It took less than two seconds for her eyes to snap open only to be see silver-like ones looking down at her, but that wasn't what made her uncomfortable, it was the way he was looking at her just like in her dream when they almost committed sin.
"Stone, tell your brother to leave me alone I am not the one that killed him, his killer is out there, not me" She tried to divert his attention, but his eyes didn't even move
"Seriously? even if I die, I will definitely take you with me. Do you seriously think I will leave you for anyone? Now, for the last time, are you going to follow me or not?" Moon shook her head furiously trying to hold onto Stone who was busy chuckling
"Just carry her brother, she is terrified of your ghost" Stone chimed and Moon's head snapped to him
"you can see him too-?"
"time up!" Ocean immediately lifted her onto his shoulder as if she weighed nothing, and ran out of the room with Stone who happily followed behind, enjoying the view of seeing Ocean so carefree.
"put me down! please put me down! I don't want to go to the land of the dead with you, so please, drop me! Someone please help me!" She kicked and yelled as they went down the hallway, entertaining people as some of them were shocked and surprised while some were amused, but Ocean held her in place as his body shook with laughter
"Shout one more time and I will drop you" Ocean warned her, hoping she would stop creating a scene, but she wasn't done
"Help me! Stone please help me! Someone-" She is yet to finish her words when she felt Ocean's palm collide with her ass, not painful enough to leave any bruise though
"Did you just spank me? You perverted, pea-brained ghost! drop me right now!" Ocean shook with another laughter before gently keeping her down when they reached their destination
"I can't believe I am in love with a crazy woman"
"it's you that is crazy" She pointed at them and they just smiled down at her. She looked at Ocean's face checking for any form of bruise or fracture, but there was none.
"Was the fight cancelled?"
"Of course not"
"I said it! Stone please step away from him, that is your brother's ghost" She tried to talk to Stone who only grinned and shook his head.
"Where is Robert?" Stone asked nonchalantly
'He is unconscious somewhere or something?"
"what did you do to him?" Stone asked out of curiosity
"I might have knocked out about three teeth, two up, one down....then I might have misaligned his jaw and nose. He is just a big for nothing fellow"
"Is he ever going to wake up?"
"I doubt it" Ocean grinned at Moon who listened with wide eyes
"Are you serious right now?" Moon eyed him suspiciously
"I told you I will make him moan my name in the ring, unfortunately you weren't there to watch it" Stone was about to say something when someone interrupted
"Ocean are we leaving now?" They all turned to Selena who had a huge smile on her face as she walked towards Ocean and hooked her arm with his, not minding the fact that his other hand was on Moon's waist.
"Of course we can leave now, where do you want us to go?" Moon's heart sank as soon as those words left Ocean's mouth. I knew it! was all Moon said to herself before turning to Stone.
