Saturday was here again and Kayden's parents are on their way to the house. We are so excited for them to be here.
They came a week early and I am excited to meet the rest of his family.
Tripp woke up and I made a bottle and took him out on the deck to feed him.
Kayden walked out on the deck and sit down beside me sipping on his coffee. "Well everyone is on their way. Do you want to go meet them at their new beach house?"
"Sure that sounds great. Gives me time to get ready and get Tripp ready."
"Ok good I will text mom then."
After I burped Tripp I handed him over to Kayden so I could go shower and get ready.
After my shower, I threw my hair up in a bun and applied a little makeup, and put on a cute little sundress.
I heard Kayden talking to Tripp and I walked down to his room where Kayden was changing his diaper.
I couldn't help but stand by the door and watch and it was so sweet. I walked in and got him a cute outfit that Pria bought that says my Mimi loves me.
"Oh, mom is going to fall to pieces when she sees Tripp with this on." He laughed.
"That's the point Kayden." I smiled.
After we finished getting dressed I packed the diaper bag with bottles of milk and then we got in Kayden's jeep and headed over to the new beach house.
"Take a deep breath because you are going to be meeting a lot of people."
"It's ok you met my crazy bunch so it's my turn to meet yours."
We pull up and Kayden gets the carrier out of the jeep and we head to the side door.
I knocked and Pria rushed to the door. "Don't knock get in here and give me a hug."
Pria wrapped her arms around me hugging me tight and then kissed Kayden's cheek.
"We know what you really want mom but hi to you as well." Kayden laughed.
"Yes, my grandson." She smiled.
Kayden got him out of the carrier and as soon as Pria saw his outfit she laughed. "I love it! Oh my, he is so handsome."
Dane walked into the kitchen. "Oh hey, guys! Let me get a look at him but guys come in so you can meet everyone."
Kayden grabbed my hand and we went out to the deck where everyone was.
"Hey, guys! This is my fiancée Julia and I'm going to go down the line and introduce everyone so she can put a face to names."
"Whatever you need to do." An old man smiled.
"Julia that is my Grandpa Simon and that's Grandma Yvette moms family."
"Nice to meet you guys."
"This here is my Grandpa Rob and my Grandma Kay. Dad's parents."
"You know Lauren and Coleman already. That is my uncle Aaron and Aunt Sophia and her husband Uncle Holden."
"Nice meeting you all."
"And that right there is my Aunt Vella. My mom Angie's sister."
"It's so great to finally meet you, Julia." Sophia smiled.
"Be nice to her because she carries a gun." Kayden laughed.
Pria walked in with Tripp and everyone was oohing and ahhing over him.
I couldn't help but smile watching them with Tripp and how much they love him.
My phone beeped.
📱 Saturday dinner in less than an hour. Bring all of Kayden's family we have more than enough food and room.
📱 Thanks Grandma we will be there soon.
"So if Kayden hasn't told you guys but my family has family dinners every Saturday on the beach and my Grandma Avah just texted me and said dinner is in less than an hour and to invite all of you."
"Are you sure Julia?" Dane asked.
"That's what she said and no one says no to family dinner."
"Her family makes the best food ever and you don't want to miss it." Kayden laughed.
"Can we walk up the beach?" Sophia asked.
"Of course, we can it's not far away." I smiled.
We all gathered up and walked down all of those steps and I am so glad I don't have to walk back up the steps later as they will.
"God those steps are horrible." Dane laughed.
"Julia's house doesn't thank goodness but her parent's and Uncles house does." Kayden laughed.
When we walked up Kayden introduced everyone to each other and poor Tripp was getting passed around until he got extra fussing and Uncle Cam took him.
"Your Uncle Cam was always good with you as I recall." Mom said.
"You mean Uncle Am?" I laughed.
"Hey, I will always be Uncle Am and come running when you need me no matter how old you are Julia."
We all set down to eat and Grandpa Levi said the prayer and once we were all sitting everyone was laughing and talking like they knew each other forever.
I glanced down at Uncle Cam and Tripp was sound to sleep in his arms. I couldn't help but pull out my phone and take his picture.
Kayden squeezed my hand and smiled when he saw Cam and Tripp as well.
After everyone eat Aunt Remi came out with a huge cake that looked like a wedding cake.
"I knew everyone would be together and so I made a pre-wedding cake."
"Oh hallelujah!" Pria giggled.
I couldn't help but laugh as Uncle Gray helped her cut slices of the cake and passed it around.
"Holy hell! This is the best cake I have ever eaten." Aaron said.
Dane poked him and we all laughed.
"Everyone loves Aunt Remi's cooking." I smile.
"Are you making the wedding food?" Sophia asked.
"I sure am. I have help but dessert is the biggest hit around here."
"Grandma Remi we love all of your cooking." Alissa laughed.
"Everyone seconds that." Kayden laughed.
We eat and eat again and I took Tripp from Uncle Cam and gave him a bottle when Pria walked up and sit down beside me.
"I love you Julia and I cant wait to go dress shopping with you tomorrow."
