Appreciation Day

Jo's POV 

He took Jess to basement, we all followed. He wants to show my paintings?

"They are so beautiful, amazing artwork. why are you keeping in basement?" Jess asked me

"Jo painted them" Drew said 

"You painted these?" Jess asked in shock

I nodded

"You have amazing talent, you should put them in art exhibition. My mom would be excited to see these" Jess said 

"Jess' mom conducts art exhibitions, remember I asked if you are interested" Drew said 

"It's just hobby, never thought about it. I used to paint every weekend at sunset. That's my favorite time" i said 

"I never saw you paint" Henry said 

I was in depression after Drew went to Australia, I lived like a machine working day and night

"I got busy" I said 

"When is the last time you painted?" Henry asked 

I painted the next day Henry went to Australia, I missed him so much, our baby too missed him. How do I tell in front of everyone?

"Do you expect her to remember dates" Drew saved me

"Next day you and Judson went to Australia Jo painted. I was so happy seeing her paint after very long time.That's the first time she spoke about Drew. She wished Drew was alive. It was as if she knew he is there..."

"That painting is still incomplete" i said 

I don't want Jason to say any our conversation from that day

I got call from Nisha. She got snacks. I asked her to keep I back porch. Lets have some tea, coffee and snacks" I said

We went outside 

"Jess I don't know your preference,  what would you like Jess? Black coffee, Indian coffee or Indian tea. I'm sorry I should have asked you" I felt bad that I didn't ask her

"That's fine. I'm ok with anything. I will have tea" she said 

I served black coffee for Henry and regular Indian coffee for Drew and Indian tea for Jason and Judson and Jess. I drank pomegranate juice

"How do you manage everything Jo?" Jess asked 

"I'm not doing anything, not even going to office regularly" i said 

"You look after everyone's needs, get things done perfectly, coordinate with everyone. You have amazing skills" 

"She manages office too perfectly. .." it's Jason 

"Is there felicitation here? Enjoy evening" I said 

I needed to make few calls, I left from there

"Can we go to our home? I'm tired" I said after coming back 

"To where Jo?" Judson asked 

"You heard me" i said 

I'm his target for today

"Jason went out, he has work. Let's go" Henry said 

We came in three cars, me-Jess, Jason-Drew and Henry-Judson in different cars. Jason took one car so Drew came with us. We reached home

"Jess, can you do me a favor?

I need blue saree from my old home, I have to wear it morning. It's special. I went there to get it but forgot. I'm tired... I really need it..."
