Drew said he would come but in the last minute he dropped. He asked Henry to take me. Sometimes I wonder if Drew knows about me and Henry. Whenever I have to go to office or hospital visits, he makes me go with Henry. He sends Henry home by sharp 6pm and he comes late depending on the work.
He says Henry worked so hard and needs break but I feel he wants to give us time. It's just a feeling, maybe that's how I want it to be.
Why would Drew pretend not knowing?
Pregnancy complications apart, our baby is all good. I will have to see doctor once in two weeks from now onwards. Doctor said I could have normal delivery and advised me to take rest and no stress.
I'm not going to office much anyway, all I do is taking rest.
After check up we went to Mexican restaurant to have lunch. Drew was at home when we returned
"I have a surprise for you" Drew shouted excitedly looking at Henry
Then a woman in mid 20s came
"Hey Jess" Henry said
She hugged him and kissed his cheeks
How dare she kiss my husband? I want to slap her but controlled
"I missed you" she said
"I missed you too, how are you? It's been so long" Henry said
He missed her? Who the hell is she? She is holding my Henry as if she owns him
"Yeah, long time"
"You must be Jo. Drew said so much. You look gorgeous" she hugged me
"Thank you" I said
"Jo, this is Jessica, Henry's girlfriend" Drew introduced
"She is your girlfriend?" I shouted
"No, I mean, we dated..." Henry stammered
"We used to date in college. He got busy because of family situation and I moved to Paris. It's been so long. Drew said, Henry is still single, waiting for me. I couldn't stay away anymore" she said hugging Henry's arm
I wanted to yank her hand and shout ,'he is my husband, stay away from him'. I would do that if I stay longer.
"I'm tired, sorry. I will ask Tessa(house keeper) to arrange everything for you" I said
"No problem, take rest. Drew made all the arrangements" she said
"I got all your things in Henry's room" Drew said
If I stay any longer my tears would betray me. I came to my room crying.
Henry never said he loves me. It's all my imagination because I love him. I'm just a burden for him. He's been in love with Jess.
I got call from Henry, I didn't pick. After sometime I heard knock on the door
"Jo, open the door" it's Henry
"Please Jo, talk to me"
"I want to sleep, please go" I managed to say
"Five minutes, please" he begged
I wiped my tears and opened the door.
"It's not what you think..." he said
"Henry, I was looking for you" I heard Jess voice
"I have some work with Jo" he said
"Why are you bothering her? Let her rest, I will help if you need something" she said coming to my door
"Thank you Jess" i said and closed the door
Why can't she leave us alone? I heard knock on the door after sometime. I don't want to see anyone rather I don't want anyone see me like this.
"Jo, open the door" it's Judson
What is he doing at home now?
I washed my face and opened the door, he came inside
"How are you?" He asked
"I'm good"
"Why are you crying"
I hugged him
"It's ok, I'm here" he said
He made me drink juice
"They we're not in serious relation Jo, they just dated" he said
You are wrong, they love each other
"Henry loves you so much, you know that. Why are you bothered about Jess?" He asked
"He never said he loves me, I'm just an obligation"
"You don't need those three words to know if someone loves you. You are the only one he's been in love with. She will leave in couple of days, don't take stress" he said
"What if Henry wants her?"
"He can never see anyone other than you. Ask your heart, did you ever feel you were just an obligation for him. He can't live without you. He asked me to come and talk to you since he couldn't" he said
"He wants to be with her, didn't even come to me"
"I never thought i would see you jealous. You look cute by the way.
Why do you think I'm here? He was worried about you, asked me to come home. He told me the situation. Trust your heart, not crazy thoughts. Fresh up and come" he said
