I found myself smiling as she got out of the car; she nodded when I told her I'd see her again. There was something about this girl I met less than 12 hours ago, I felt like I needed to get to know her, know more about her. Something about her intrigued me, made me want to pursue her.

"What you thinking about mate?" Louis derailed my train of thought as he climbed over the seat to come sit next to me. My smile disappeared, bringing my attention back to the familiar road in front of me.

"Just what exactly Uncle John's job details." He nodded tightly, his attention drifted out the window staring at the seemingly innocent people passing by. I couldn't let them know what I was planning with Skye. I just couldn't.

The boys continued to talk and I blocked them out thinking about the last time I saw Uncle John, the tears started to sting the back of my eyes at the thought that Claire was still alive the last time we were here. The brown bricked, old building neared in my vision, I couldn't help but to smirk. Uncle John took the place of my father after he passed away; he meant everything to me and treated me like he would his only son.

I parked the car and we made our way over to the dark green door. The feel of familiarity washed over me and my thoughts soon started to cloud with images of my father.
The placed seemed to not have changed at all, the high ceilings, the brown, red and green barstools and the dark mahogany, varnished bar filled with rows of alcohol on the shells behind the bartender.

"Harry is that you?" a chirpy female voice echoed throughout the rather quiet pub.

"Mel?" my eyes widened as the pixie little dark haired girl ran over to me.

"Cuz! Oh my God how you've grown. I've missed you so much." She threw her arms around my neck, I lifting her up, I spun her around.

"I know, strong and handsome." I placed her softly on the ground, flexing my muscles for her. Her giggle reminded me of my sister. She seemed to see my change in expression and understood what had caused it.

"I'm sorry about Claire." Her voice was barely above a whisper; her hand clung to my arm and salty stinging tears starting to prickle her dark chestnut eyes. I gave her a weak smile, shrugging my shoulders. I hated that sentence, "I'm sorry about Claire." Sorry about what? I was too late to save her, too later to help her. I hated the thought that if I had been there sooner, she would still be her. I would still be able to tease her and hear her heart warming giggle. I missed her and I was to blame that my little sister was no longer here. I cleared my throat trying to get rid of the lump in my throat.

"So where's your dad?" I moved my eyes to the corner of the room, trying to hide the very visible tears that were threatening to spill from my eyes.

"Oh in the back, probably another meeting you know. He was just asking where you guys were. Go on." She nudged me towards the entrance where his office was. Niall stopped to talk to Melanie, he always had a little thing for her, even when we were little.

"Niall come." I commanded sternly, the sight of him drooling over my cousin aggravated every sense in my entirety. I was very protective of my family and I would do anything to keep them out of harm's way. He jumped slightly at the sternness of my tone.
