Note that this world is different from the original Azur Lane world and as such also includes nations you might not immediately recognise. This is because Azur Lane takes place using the major nations of WW2 whilst this story changes a few things to achieve its current state. An example of this would be the fact that in this world, the Ottoman Empire or rather the nation that it is represented by, still exists.

Eagle Union - United States
Unlike in our world, this nation traded with both sides, right up until the Sakura Empire (Japan) blitzed its fleet in the Pearl Harbour attack. After the attack, whilst the Eagle Union declared war on the Sakura Empire, Iron Blood (Germany) refrained from declaring war on Eagle Union (something they did not do in ww2). This led to the Eagle Union being able to focus much more resources on the Pacific Theatre since it was only at war with the Sakura Empire and no one else.
The war between the two countries went as it did in our world with the exception being how fast Eagle Union recaptured the territory. It wasn't able to really liberate the modern-day Philippines, however, since the SIREN arrival forced both parties to sue for peace.
