Once the blades were ignited, the five blackstalkers leaped towards me. I swung my lightsabers, hitting two of them. Immediately they let out howls of pain as they staggered back, falling to the ground. I whipped around to face the other three, raising my lightsabers. As soon as they approached me, I swung my lightsabers, wounding two of them. They both collapsed onto the ground beside me, while the third blackstalker pounced up in the air towards me. I was not expecting its attack, causing me to tumble back onto the pile of jewels and gems, knocking my lightsabers to the bottom of the mound. I mentally cursed. Its piercing claws dug into my right leg. I let out a cry of agony, feeling immense pain. The creature's sharp fangs was just centimeters away from my face. I extended out one of my hands, reaching out to the Force, trying to grab my lightsabers. But in a desperate attempt to save my own skin, I tapped into my power from within me. Blue flames emerged from my hands and straight for the blackstalker, throwing it back out of the mines.

As I climbed up onto my feet, I felt a throbbing sensation coming from my right leg. There was a tear in my pants below the knee. I winced, nearly falling back onto the ground. But I extended out into the Force, using it to control my pain to make it tolerable for now. I slowly made my way down the the bottom of the pile, reaching my lightsabers. I let out a shaky breath, scanning the mines to find six blackstalkers. I mentally groaned. Come on, Storm, come on. You can do this. Four of them were around the mother blackstalker, fighting against her. The father blackstalker had jumped from the cliff, joining in the fight. That meant there were two blackstalkers left. And they immediately spotted me. They let out growls as they made their way towards me. I took in a deep breath before lifting my lightsabers, prepared to take them on. The first one jumped up in the air.

I lifted the red blade, cutting the creature in half before it tumbled down onto the ground. I then whipped around to face the second blackstalker, who swung its clawed paw towards me. I dodged the claw in time, the avoiding my face by a few centimeters. I quickly spun around, raising the yellow blade towards the creature's stomach, impaling it, growing frustrated. I watched as the blackstalker's blood red eyes's widened as it let out a screech. I could feel its fear, radiating off of it. And I wasn't sure why, but I allowed myself to take its fear, and consume it, taking all its negative emotions. And I felt a thrill, a sense of empowerment that I hadn't felt before. But was frightening was that I found it exciting. The light then left its eyes before its body fell limp in my arms. A shiver ran up my spine, and I quickly threw the body away from me. What was happening to me?

I thought I had taken care of all the blackstalkers, so I fell onto my knees, observing the blackstalker parents of the baby battle against three of the blackstalkers. One of the blackstalkers, which I thought I had taken of, came rushing back towards me. I felt the tingly sensation in the back of my head, screaming at me to turn around. So, I slowly turned around, feeling tired. Although I had wished I would've looked sooner, because it was a blackstalker, lunging towards me. The creature tackled me off the pile and towards the ground, causing my to drop my lightsabers. I raised my hands, trying to pry it off of me.

After a few minutes of struggling, I lifted my leg, kicking its stomach. The creature let out a yelp as it was thrown back away from me. My shaking legs gave out from under me, causing me to collapse onto the ground. I laid on the ground, exhausted, completely tired. My leg felt as though it was on fire. I can't...I can't go on. I glanced around to see the blackstalker circling in on me, prepared to finish me off. I was prepared to let it kill me as I leaned my head back onto the floor. I'm sorry, Loki...I'm sorry, Obi, Stass. I can't go on. All of the sudden, I heard grandfather's voice. "Storm, you must keep going. Use the Force, push through the pain. You are a Ca'ana, a Setalvi, from the House Serenno, and a Jedi. You were made for this."

Listening to his words, I used my last strength to reach out to the Force. In a matter of moments, I felt a bit of my strength returned, giving me the energy to get up. Grandfather's right, this wasn't over, I can still do this. With that, I slowly climbed up onto my feet, prepared to face the last blackstalker, who let out a snarl, showing off its fangs. I extended out my hands, using the Force to retrieve my lightsabers. Once I had my lightsabers in my hands, I ignited the blades at once. The blackstalker then charged towards me, determined to kill me. However, I was quicker, swinging my lightsabers. In one movement, I sliced the creature's legs and arms. The blackstalker cried out in agony as it fell onto the ground in front of me. The creature whimpered. Its red eyes looked up at me. He who remains's words came back into my mind.
