Chapter-21 Telling Them

"I have been having nightmares- " as I am about to complete Hazel gets up and hugs me and says "It's okay babe,  it happens to everyone at one stage of life. " when she retreats from the hug " -about my abusive ex-boyfriend" I add and everyone is shocked. " I need you all to sit and I will explain everything but on one condition, no one interrupts me and no one gets up from their seat as well. " I demand and everyone nods

I tell them everything within 15 mins and by the time I complete telling the girls are crying but Ace and Cole are trying to console them, Alex also has tears in his eyes and Ace are fuming with anger but his teardrops are visible and Xavier saw that I have tears in my eyes and that I am trying so hard not to cry. "Come here," he says while he is sitting on the couch staring at me. I shake my head in a no as the tears are on the verge of bursting out,  I turn to go but he grabs my wrist, I throw small punches at his chest trying my best to not let my tears fall but they escape my eyes, I lose my power to punch him and he pulls me in a hug,  rather I say the tightest hug, the hug gives me a sense of protection which leads me to break down fully in his arms.

I further wrap my legs around his torso and bury my face in his neck, his scent is so calming he smells like vanilla. After 5 mins of crying I look up to see Cole with tears in his eyes, Aria and Hazel were exhausted due to crying and I noticed that we were on the couch and I was sitting on his lap and both of my legs by his thighs. I detached myself from Xavier to look at how he was doing, and he had a cold face but his eyes showed that he could murder someone. I get up from his lap and go over to Cole and hug him. "Okay no more crying," I say and shake both Hazel and Aria, and they both jerk up and hug me.

" Guys no more crying, let us watch a movie.  I will change and come" I say and the girls laugh.  I wear a black cami crop top and plaid pajamas. As I go to the movie room I see Cole and Aria got the first seat, then Alex spread his legs on the next one, Ace and Hazel hogged the third one, and I and Xavier were left with one of them. There were only 4 of the couch seats in the movie room since they were pretty big and could fit 3 people with ease.

As I go to sit next to Xavier I pick up a blanket and then sit, Hazel choose Mean Girls and we all agreed, in the middle of the movie, I shifted towards Xavier and made his arm my pillow and I snuggle into his side, he was like a huge cuddly bear.  As I drape the blanket over him he chuckles and pulls me closer to him, I keep one of my hands on his chest and his thumb is making circles on the back of my hand.

The circles that Xavier is drawing are so soothing, it feels like I am about to drift off to sleep and the last thing I remember before drifting off is that " You are so precious, I will never let anyone hurt you and will protect you with all my life. "

As I and Sapphire were watching the movie, Sapphire scooted closer to me and cuddles into my side using my arm as a pillow so I decided to put my arm around her and she keeps one of her hands on my chest, so I decide to lift my right hand and rub small circles on her upper part of the hand. I soon see she is starting to doze off, when I again turn to see her she is asleep " You are so precious, I will never let anyone hurt you and will protect you with all my life." I say and sleep myself as well.

I wake up from hearing picture clicking sound, I open my eyes to see Hazel and Aria clicking my and Sapphire's pictures while giggling and Cole a bit angry, I look at Sapphire and she is almost fully on top of me, I let out a small snicker so she doesn't wake up and look up to see Cole who is still pissed ." Who wouldn't have been pissed when their baby sister is with a guy who is the best friend of the overprotective big brother? " I think

Imagine it's them Again 👆

I pick her up and take her to her room, I lay her down and pull the comforter up and cover her up. As I am about to leave she holds my hand and says "Thanks for shifting me and keeping me safe ." in a very cute voice. I say " I will always keep you safe ." kiss her forehead and leave the room. 

As I close the door I see Cole standing there with a pair of shorts and a tee-shirt in his hands he gives them to me and says "Wear this and sleep in my room, the girls are in one of the guest rooms and boys are in the movie room passed out. And Xavier, please don't hurt Sapphire, she has already been through a lot and I can't see her get hurt anymore. " " First of all I would never hurt her and protect her with all my life and how could you forget that I have a whole section in your closet with my clothes ." and let out a deep chuckle

I pick my clothes out and took a shower. As I was about to lay down Cole said "Thank You for being with Sapphire when she needed you ." "No problem and that's what I am here for," I say and we both doze off to sleep.
