Chapter 4- First Day

I put a step out of the car and saw three humongous buildings with a board saying  SUNDANCE SCHOOL. Both Hazel and Aria dragged me towards the doors of the school. Upon entering the school there were lines of lockers and many students leaning on them and talking in small groups.

I asked both of them to take me to the Principal's office for my class schedule. The principal gave me one. I went to my homeroom which was the same as Hazel and Aria, I saw them talking to a brown-haired girl. I went up to them and said "Hi". They introduced me to her and she was Ivy Hall. She was around 5'4 so she was shorter than me. I was 5'8, Aria was 5'6 and Hazel was the tallest with her height just about 5'10. We all had our first period in Biology which was in room no.303. 

Bio class was quite interesting although the teacher was a little strict. After that I and Ivy had Spanish and Hazel and Aria had French. The  Spanish teacher was late so I and Ivy started to talk, I got to know about her favourite foods, subject, her hobbies and that she was a great artist. Once the teacher came she started to remind us of some basic rules to remember throughout the year. The door opened and then came a boy with an all-black attire who had a pink slip in his hand which he gave to the Spanish teacher Mr Williams and said: " Xavier and Cole were asked to stay back by coach so they won't be attending this class ". He asked him to sit in the seat beside a boy named Samuel. By which I got to know his name and he was Alex.

When the bell rang Ivy dragged me towards Alex and I was confused when she said that he was her best friend I got why she was taking me towards him. She introduced me as her new friend and the new student I said "Hi Alex, I am Sapphire Roberts ." he said " Hey, Since you already know my name I don't know what to say ." and left. 

"Well that was weird I thought. "Just as I was about to leave Ivy said " Sorry for his behavior he is always cold towards people except for his friends but I am surprised he even replied to you," I said " Okay " and left 

Now I had English in which I had Hazel with me. She asked " Hey, how was Spanish? Meet anyone new? I said " Yes, Ivy introduced me to her best friend Alex, "she said "Ohk " and we continued to study English.

Lunch Break 

Mom had given me some money to buy lunch in the school cafeteria, I and Hazel were waiting for  Aria who had History, and Ivy who had Algebra. Soon Aria and Ivy came and we were going towards the cafeteria when I bumped into a girl and we both fell. Her 2 friends helped her stand and Hazel and Aria helped me. The girl started to shout at me " Don't you have eyes?  Can't you see where you are walking?  Do you even know who am I?  "  I glared at this obvious cliché of a mean girl and said " As a matter of fact, I don't know who you are. "  I saw Hazel, Aria, and Ivy trying to suppress their laughter.  The girl just sighed in exasperation and left-turning sharply on her heel. " She is Amelia Garcia the cheer captain and is the Queen Bee of school she treats everyone as her minions," said Ivy.

We sat at a table in the right corner of the cafeteria there were three tables in a row with adequate distance. My lunch was 👇 and it was quite good for cafeteria food.

It was now the last period and nobody was with me for Economics and I was sitting alone. Suddenly the door opens and a boy with light brown hair and blue eyes who wore a white tee shirt with black jeans, a brown jacket, and white sneakers enters, He says sorry for being late to the teacher. The teacher said " As a warning Mr Blackwood I am only changing your seat, you are not going to sit in your usual seat instead you will be sitting with Ms Roberts, Ms Roberts please raise your hand so he can know where he has to sit. " I sheepishly raised my hand, the name sounded hella familiar and that instant I remembered that this is the guy Hazel has a crush on. His name was Ace Amore Blackwood.
