Thursday 12/21
Von and Kennedy sleep peacefully in their beds as the dark night sky slowly turns into day while the sun rises .
After the blow up with lanora and Von yesterday Kennedy decided to go chrismas shopping by herself and let him blow off steam . She wanted oh so badly to let it go and mind her buisness but she couldn't help but to brainstorm an idea on how to plan lanoras last wishes for Von .
She realizes how much this can backfire but something about how lanora kept begging hit a soft spot in her heart . The fact that she even was bold enough to show up to the house let Kennedy know that she really wants to fix things and although she wished she didn't fall for the tears , she did . She just needed Von and her to stop arguing for a second long enough for them to have a real conversation.
Meanwhile the Argument made Von so angry yesterday that he had to take his medium pills to calm him down .
Everytime lanora plays victim and asks for forgiveness it makes him hate her more than he already does and causes his blood to boil . He just wished her and Kayla would leave him alone already and let it go . They are both dead to him . He was done trying to be loyal to family , and this was the last warning he's going to give them before he takes things into his own hands .
Now , With everything happening so fast it seems like it's one problem after the other back in LA and little did they know , the problems have just begun .
Bang bang bang
Hard knocking at the door booms through the house causing kennedy and Von to jump in their sleep .
BANG BANG BANG
It gets louder
"Kennedy who the fuck is that at the door ?" Von groans out his sleep angrily
"How am I supposed to know ?" She mumbles attempting to ignore it "just go to sleep it's probably juju, he said he was going to come back in the morning "
"Last time you thought it was juju it was the fucking devil "he grits and she rolls her eyes waking up
"Okay then go answer it " she mugs
BANG BANG BANG
" where my strap at ? whoever that is, is fucking tripping "He asks getting up out the bed upset
"Do you really think a gun is necessary To answer the door ?" She yawns as the knocking continues .
"Alright you go answer it then and let whoever it is shoot you in the face first " he says as She looks back at him while he gives her a mean stare and she sighs rolling her eyes
"It's in the closet in your shoes box "She tell him knowing he wouldn't take no for an answer .
Plus by the loud knocking she was afraid it would be a robber or a crazy neighbor so she wanted to be protected.
"You hid my shit in my own shoe box ?" He shakes his head walking in the closet
"You would've known if you stopped wearing shoes one time and putting them on the shelf " She mugs and he waves her off making sure it's loaded before cocking it back .
"Come so if it's the police you can answer it and look all sweet " Von tells her and she huffs getting off the bed
"Maybe if you wouldn't break into peoples condos and threaten them we wouldn't have to worry about that " she mumbles as she walks down the stairs with him behind her
"You know I'm getting tired of yo slick ass mouth , I hope it's a robber behind this door so I can sacrifice your ass for ransom " he tells her
"And hopefully the kidnapper is rio from good girls so I can upgrade from you " she spats back as she approaches the door .
"I swear Imma beat yo ass if we don't die first " he mugs her while she chuckles knowing that would get on his nerves . She gets closer To the door and opens it revealing who's doing all the knocking then sighs in relief .
"Man Durk you know you almost got shot ?"von groans tucking his gun away as he looks at a sad Durk standing in the doorway "wha you want nigga ? " he asks and Durk exhales letting out a sharp breath
Kennedy looks down at his tear stained face and bleached black T-shirt then realizes why he's there "you told her didn't you ?" She asks and he nods
"Told who what ?"von asks genuinely confused . He forgot about the entire Nikki situation.
"I'm sorry Durk ?" Kennedy says pulling him into a hug as he tries not to break down on her shoulder "it was for the best "
"I know " he nods . Although it hurt , he told india everything and it turned out exactly how he expected . Terrible
"Where is she ?" Kennedy asks grabbing the keys off the stand by the door
"She still at the house with willow " he nods stepping inside the house "I can't go back there though "
"I know "she mumbles "I'll be back" she says walking out as Durk shakes his head looking at Von
"I'm confused as hell "Von says looking dumbfounded " what happened to india ?"
"Nigga "Durk groans annoyed "Nikki nigga Nikki "he emphasizes as von takes a minute to think before reacting
"Oooooohhhh"Von calls out loudly catching on . "Ouuu shit " he laughs and durk frowns at him "Damn I thought you was gone say I did it ? "
"I was bro and when she brought it up I was finna call you "he starts "but when she looked at me I couldn't lie to her no more . I had to tell her the truth " he exhales then reaches in his pocket pulling something out "she gave me the ring back "
"Damn man "Von shakes his head "I'm sorry twin "
"Yeah me too "he mumbles looking at it not beliving that she actually took it off her finger . When he gave it to her he never thought she would take it off but she did and it hurt him more than all the other things she damaged
"Don't even trip though twin " Von says trying to sound positive the best way he knows how "you know how these females be man they be tripping , just give her time to calm down , Ken killa gone handle it "
"Nah " Durk shakes his head "you ain't see her bro . She was mad as hell I saw the love leave out ha body , she don't want my ass no more "his voice cracks while he try's to hold it together
"So what you saying you finna give up ? " Von asks him confused and Durk looks up at him
"Nah I'm saying Imma need a room "
"Nigga the fuck this look like motel six ? " Von asks "you betta go chill with Nikki " he jokes then starts chuckling as Durk hits him
"To fucking soon nigga"
