Harry POV

I've never been on a sleigh ride, but this is essentially what this is.

We're currently galloping into the woods, that reindeer Sven pulling the cart we're sitting on, and I'm just casually holding on for dear life. Kristoff had all this heavy snow gear on while I just brought along my jacket from the Isle since it's warm and was casually driving the reindeer deeper into the woods. It was super pretty I will say, the tall trees with snow sitting on the branches, the pure white landscape before us with only paw prints of various animals on it, it was beautiful. And the powerful sound of the reindeer's hooves galloping on the snowy surface is mesmerizing to listen to.

I peered over to Kristoff as the whole journey had been nearly silent, but I preferred most people that way anyway. The whole time I've been daydreaming about Elena as the more I'm around her and the more I see her the more she intrudes my thoughts, but it's not like I try to get her out of my head. When I did snap out of my daydreaming and peered over to Kristoff, I saw that he was constantly looking down at the ground beside him, constantly as in every few feet we traveled he peered down. I furrowed my brow and looked down too, all I saw were paw prints. He looked over to me for a moment as I looked back up for a moment,

"Wolf prints, the prints you see on the ground are from a wolf. Keep your eye out, they aren't supposed to be in this part of the forest this early on into winter"

I hummed for a moment and processed, but there's one major issue with that. I've never seen a wolf. All I know is that they look like really big, not so friendly, dogs. So I chuckled a little to myself and looked over to Kristoff as he scanned the area,

"I would if I knew what one looked like"

Kristoff immediately looked over to me with a furrowed brow for a moment before looking at where we were going,

"What? You don't know what a wolf looks like?"

I pressed my lips together for a moment and nodded once,

"Nope, they're just a big dog right?"

Kristoff chuckled a little bit and shook his head before pausing and shrugging his shoulders. I guess that means "kinda", so I wasn't entirely off

"Sorta, imagine a big dog with huge teeth and a bark that is just as bad as its bite"

I, for some reason, immediately thought of only one response. As stupid as it was, I chuckled and spoke without thinking,

"Sounds like meh dad"

I chuckled a little more to myself as Kristoff laughed at first before pausing. He looked over to me with a rather worried expression actually, meanwhile, I'm learning how to cope via humor that others may see as disturbing but I find rather forgiving,

"Uh... you okay man? That doesn't sound too good, wanna talk about it?"

What? An adult who... actually wants to listen? I didn't think those existed... but can I trust him? I mean it's Elena's uncle, her whole family seems really understanding, maybe I can actually say a bit? Very lightly to test my waters, but it would be nice to talk it out with someone else. Elena knows nearly everything, but some things she doesn't understand because she doesn't entirely know what I'm talking about. She'll comfort me no matter what, but having someone listen and get what I'm saying a hundred percent might be nice,

"I dunno.... the only other person who knows what that sort of comment means is Ellie and no offense, but I barely know ya"

But my trust issues run deep, simply opening up for the hell of it is hard. There's so much to me that I'm afraid of, I'm insecure about those parts of me... so it's not just as easy as opening my mouth and letting my past be known to someone else. Maybe one day it won't be so hard, but for now, it's a no. So after the long pause I had to take, that's what I went to. Kristoff took a minute to go silent before suddenly chuckling a little bit,
