Elena POV

I tiredly stumbled out of my bathroom all washed up and changed, I felt refreshed but now insanely tired. I made my way to my bed and climbed on into the warm and soft sheets that were pretty much screaming for me to go to sleep. I reached under my pillow and pulled out the red sash, I put it under there since I didn't know where else to put it. I wrapped it around my hands a few times and stared at it for a good while until I heard a solid knock on the door. I jumped a little and quickly tucked the sash back underneath my pillow,

"It's open"

I tried to speak a little loudly, but my poor voice is just so scratchy and sore right now it was hard. The door opened a little bit and peeked in Evie with a smile,

"Oh good you're in bed, can we come in?"

We? Ah well, I don't really have the energy to care about who "we" is. I simply nodded. Evie with a cup of tea in her hand came in with Mal close behind. I smiled at them as Mal quietly shut the door behind her before the two quickly walked my way. I carefully reworked my pillows around so I could sit up and made sure the sash was still hidden as Mal sat on the side of my bed and Evie handed me my much-needed cup of tea,

"Hey, how're you feeling?"

Mal asked with concern in her voice, I gave her a little smile and shrugged as I didn't feel great but I didn't feel terrible either. She sighed and gave me a visual look over as Evie did the same,

"Hey on the plus side, most of the red soot is out of your hair! I can help you spot treat it tomorrow before cotillion"

Cotillion, geez I forgot about cotillion! Wow, yeah I hope I feel better before cotillion. I took a sip of tea and gee did it make my throat feel better. Bruni chirped at me and tilted his head with a tail wag, I giggled a little as it looked like he wanted to see if he could heat up my tea for me. I shrugged before nodding and putting my tea carefully in one hand and hovering it over him. He whipped his tail around and lit it ablaze, Evie and Mal jumped a little bit as he carefully held the tip of his tail underneath my cup for a few moments before I helped him out and waved my free hand to shower him in snowflakes which put out the fire and made him a very happy little guy.

I took another sip of my newly heated tea and hummed in delight as it coated my sore throat. At this rate, I should be feeling all better by tomorrow! I looked back over to Evie and Mal as Evie sat on the empty bed's side and Mal stayed sitting on the side of my bed,

"Elle? If you can, Evie said it's a little hard for you to talk right now, but could you try and tell us everything that happened on the ship? I just... I wanna make sure you're okay"

Mal spoke in a soft and sincere tone. I could try to whisper, maybe that'll be kinder on my voice despite its scratchiness and all. I took a deep breath and scratchily spoke,

"Well it wasn't bad, I woke up feeling rather ill but within seconds of me coughing, Harry came over and helped me have some water. Then I got a little angry at him which I regret, he stormed off and both of us broke down in separate rooms... but when I heard him bawling in the room next to me I calmed myself down and began singing through the wall so he'd calm down which he did. I asked him to come talk to me, a few minutes later he came out and sat in my cell with me. We just... talked, for hours about both him and I. We talked about ourselves to understand each other a little more. At the end of it we got each other, we knew why we did the things we did and we even comforted each other when we talked about more... sensitive matters. He gave me food, water, a relatively good place to sleep, and..."

I giggled a little as I reminisced about the better moments of my stay on the ship. Minus Uma and all, it wasn't that bad,

"... he gave me really good hugs too"
