Chapter Forty-Five

  I squirmed as Nessa was filing my toe nails. I giggled. What, I'm ticklish. I squirmed again, causing her to mess up a little bit.

"Girl, if you don't keep your culo still!" Nessa scolds chuckling. (Translation: ass)

"Nessa, you know I'm ticklish." I say laughing.

"Why did I even agree on doing this with you?" She rolled her eyes and I chuckled.

"Because you love me, sis," I said with a flip of my hair.

"You're so lucky I do." She chuckles. She holds up three nail polish bottles.

"What color?" She asks.

I chose a sky blue color because that's my favorite color ever. She paints my toe nails and it was beautiful. James and Axel were back to work so that left Nessa and I with absolutely nothing to do.

"I love this." I say glancing at my feet and my hands. She did my nails too.

"Yep. I used to do this all the time as a teenager." She says and I nod.

"I'm hungry, you want something?" I ask going in the kitchen.

"I'm about to DoorDash some McDonald's for us." She pulls out her phone chuckling.

"Make sure they get the order right." I said walking back to the couch.

"If they get it wrong, I'm shooting them." She states, clearly as a joke. I laugh and turn on the tv.

She introduced me to a movie on Netflix called 'Freedom Writers.' It's honestly the best movie I've seen.

In the middle, our food got here. I had a 20 piece chicken nugget with fries, a sprite and four sweet and sour sauce packets. McDonald's will forever be a must fast food restaurant.

"This is my favorite part." She says and a part comes on.

The door opens and Axel and James walk through. Nessa groans and throws her head back.

"What are y'all watching?" James asks sitting beside me.

"A movie called 'Freedom Writers.' It's really good." I replied.

"Oh, with that teacher. Oh yeah, she's my favorite." Axel says.

He walks in front of me to get to Nessa. On his way, he took a nugget and munched on it. Nessa quickly pauses the movie to take a look at Axel.

"Bad idea, man." James tells him.

I know he did not just took a nugget.

"What?" Axel asks.

"You just took a nugget from my box." I pointed out.

"Em, you have plenty in there. Calm down." He says.

Ok, he's getting the silent treatment until I feel like lifting it.

I nod and continue eating. James gives me a kiss on the cheek.

"Babe, give me a kiss." I turn to James and he's pouting.

I giggle and lean over to kiss his lips. He smiled and give kisses on my neck. I laughed because they tickled.

"Y'all are so cute, I can't." Nessa says and I smile.

"They're not that cute." Axel says giving us a playful glare.

"Don't hate, bro." James says and I laugh.

Soon the movie was over and Axel and Nessa stood up to go home.
