35- to kill a lover

Jake's body convulsed with agony as the ink on his skin began to pulsate and throb, radiating waves of excruciating pain throughout his entire being. The curse that had bound him and Y/N together seemed to be tightening its grip, intensifying their suffering with each passing day.

Heeseung watched helplessly as his friend writhed in torment, his heart aching for the pain Jake endured. The situation had taken a turn for the worse, and time was running out. He knew they needed to find a solution quickly, or the consequences could be irreversible.

"I'm afraid it's not a curse," Sarah, the witch with curly hair cascading down her back and a complexion as rich as chocolate, said with a solemn tone. Her eyes held a mix of concern and understanding. "I'm afraid this is related to his love."

Lucifer, his heart heavy with worry, looked down at his son, pain etched across his face. The last thing he wanted was to witness his beloved son in agony. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice laced with a mix of desperation and hope.

Saah sighed, her voice tinged with sadness. "There is no solution for his pain other than this love fading away," she explained, her words carrying the weight of a difficult truth.

"I'm afraid the feelings cannot be forgotten," Sarah continued her voice barely above a whisper. The reality of the situation hung heavily in the air, casting a shadow over their hearts.

Lucifer clenched his fists, his face contorted with a mixture of anger and despair. He refused to accept such a cruel fate for his son. "I will not allow it," he growled, his determination shining through. "I will find a way to protect him, to save his love."

"I know," Sarah replied softly, her voice filled with empathy. "I will perform another spell, but only if his beloved's life is in danger. However, I must warn you, I will be needing her life."

Jake, his heart shattered by the more mention of Y/N's death, couldn't bear the thought. Pain surged through his body, causing him to writhe in agony on his bed. "If I hear you utter another word about Y/N's death," he hissed, his voice laced with darkness and fury, "you will face my wrath." His demonic eyes turned pitch-black, mirroring the storm brewing within him. The thought of Y/N's demise was unthinkable; he would do anything to protect her.

"Leave the room," Jake commanded, his voice filled with authority, making Lucifer and the witch leave.

"Heeseung, stay," Jake said, addressing his loyal confidant. Once they were alone, Jake turned to Heeseung, his voice trembling with worry. "Is she okay?" he asked, his words barely audible, a mix of fear and longing in his eyes.

Heeseung nodded, a gentle smile tugging at his lips. "Yes, she's doing okay," he reassured Jake. "Yesterday, she went to a tattoo shop."

"A tattoo shop?" Jake repeated, surprise evident in his voice. His mind raced, trying to comprehend Y/N's actions.

"Yes, she got her first tattoo," Heeseung explained. "She was a bit scared, but the artist was very careful with her."

"Did the tattoo artist hurt her?" Jake asked, a tinge of jealousy lacing his words. The idea of another man touching Y/N made his blood boil.

Heeseung chuckled softly, understanding Jake's concerns. "No, actually, he took his time and treated her with care," he replied, trying to alleviate Jake's worries.

Curiosity sparked in Jake's eyes. "What did she tattoo?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation, hoping to catch a glimpse of Y/N's world through her inked skin.

Heeseung grinned, knowing how much Jake would appreciate the answer. "She designed a tattoo of the name indigo," he revealed, watching as a genuine smile spread across Jake's face. It was his nickname for her, a symbol of their deep connection.

In that moment, the weight of their challenges and uncertainties momentarily lifted. Jake's heart swelled with love and gratitude, knowing that Y/N had chosen to carry a piece of their bond with

her wherever she went. The thought of her permanent mark, a testament to their love, filled him with a sense of warmth and reassurance.

"indigo," Jake repeated softly, savoring the sound of the name on his lips. Each letter held significance, representing their unique connection and the depth of their affection. It was a beautiful reminder that, despite the obstacles they faced, their love endured.

Heeseung watched as a wave of affection washed over Jake, his friend's gaze filled with adoration. He couldn't help but feel a sense of joy for Jake, knowing how deeply he cared for Y/N. Their bond was rare and special, something to be cherished.

"Jake," Heeseung spoke, breaking the momentary silence. "You must remember that you  immortal, if you stayed in this state it will be painful."

Jake nodded, his eyes filled with determination. "do you want me to kill her?" he declared, his voice strong and unwavering.

"Jake!" Heeseung exclaimed, his voice filled with shock and concern. "No, that's not what I meant at all. Killing her is not the solution, and it's not who you are."

Jake's eyes widened, his heart pounding in his chest. He realized the darkness that had momentarily clouded his judgment, fueled by his fear and desperation. He took a deep breath, attempting to regain his composure.

"I'm sorry, Heeseung," Jake said, his voice laced with regret. "I don't know what came over me. I would never harm Y/N."

Heeseung offered a reassuring smile, understanding the turmoil that Jake was experiencing. "I know you wouldn't, Jake. Your love for her is pure, and that's what will guide you through this."

Jake nodded, a mixture of relief and guilt washing over him. He had momentarily lost sight of his true nature, succumbing to the overwhelming emotions that threatened to consume him. But he was determined to find a way to protect Y/N without resorting to violence.

"Heeseung, I need your help," Jake said, his voice filled with determination. "We have to find a way to break this curse, to free us from this pain."
