Chapter Fifty-Four
Sunshine

Standing outside Marks class, I couldn't hide the smirk as Taylor strolled towards me with two coffees in his hands.

"Mine?" I asked, biting my lip and he laughed.

"No, but then you bit your lip, so yes," Taylor replied, giving the cup to me.

"Who else would you be buying vanilla latte's for?" I smirked up at him from under my lashes and he smirked back at me.

"No one. Just you, boo thang." Bursting into laughter, I turned on my heel and walked away from him. "So that's a no?" He asked, following me.

As I took my seat, I glanced around and more than a few people were staring at us. Well, I had announced that he broke my heart and fled the classroom last time we were all together and now here I am, laughing with him.

"People are staring," I murmured and Taylor gave me a side glance.

"We have been a touch dramatic," He replied and just as I wound up to give him the biggest stink eye I was capable of, he held up his hands laughing. "I meant both of us."

"Good," I murmured curtly, crossing my arms over my torso.

"I can't wait to take you out tonight," He grinned, making my resolve crack.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked and he gave me an exasperated look.

"I'm not telling you," He shook his head I rolled my eyes.

"Rude," I murmured, crossing my arms over myself again. As Mark walked into the room I noticed him glance at us more than once as he set up for his lecture. Just before he began, a dark haired girl ran into the room looking apologetic. Slipping into her seat, she leant over to her friend. I wouldn't have thought anything more of it until she gasped and turned to me. Looking like I'd just deep fried her family pet and coated it with 11 herbs and spices, her look was complete mortification.

"No," she gasped again, still looking at me. "You didn't."

"I, uh?" I turned to Taylor for help and he looked just as lost as I was.

"What have you done?" she asked me. "You let him get to you?"

"What are you talking about?" Taylor laughed and immediately stopped when she pinned him with a glare.

"You need to be quiet you unfaithful, lying jerk." Put in his place, Taylor gave me a wide eyed stare. "How could you do this?" The girl demanded, frowning at me with pity as I looked back to her. "He embarrassed you beyond anything I've ever seen. I was at The Hub that night and I saw the way he completely ignored the way you broke down in class the next day. He doesn't care and he's scum. What are you doing? Why are you letting him treat you this way and then just forgetting about it. He'll do it again, I promise." With eyes that threatened to burst from my head, I could only stare at her shocked. Who was this person?

"What's your name?" Taylor asked, glaring at her as he stood up from his seat.

"Ashley," she told him, primly.

"Well, that's interesting," He murmured, looking at the palm of his hand. "It says here on my list that there is a Taylor and a Lucy in this relationship, but no Ashley. The only opinions that matter are coming from the people in the relationship and seeing as this isn't an open relationship, you're nobody. So butt the fuck out because it's not any of your business." Now I turned to stare at Taylor wide eyed. That escalated rather quickly. These people were all insane.
