My mom’s only day to relax on the trip was today. She was scheduled for a massage and it was her day to be alone. I would be in charge of the boys and making them have fun in Time’s Square. I shared a room with my mom and the boys shared one. I was dressed warmly for our december day in the city. It was freezing outside. My mom was still asleep when i slipped out of the door to walk across the hall where the boys door was locked. They were probably still sleeping. But my mom had gotten their spare key because she was in charge.

The room was dark, and freezing because the air condition was on. I walked over to turn it on. Jai moved a little in his bed but not enough to wake up. You couldn’t even see Luke because he was under about 5 layers of blankets.

It was 10 am but the night before included a lot of talking. I went with the boys and my mom to a party for the memorial. I would have been really bored if Jai and Luke weren’t there. We ended up filming a lot of the party. Parts of Luke dancing with this old lady, Jai sneaking into the kitchen but getting kicked out, I even flirted with some random old chef guy. Also Luke and Jai put on waiter uniforms and stole appetizers from the kitchen which we ate. It was fun until my mom caught us but she laughed instead of threatening to send them home. I personally think it was because she saw I was happy.

I went into Jai’s backpack and got out his video camera.

“Hi everyone, it’s Reagan. It’s day two in New York City and i’m in Luke and Jai’s bedroom After last nights festivities it seems that the boys are extremely tired.” I showed them whispering. “I have to wake them up because we are going sightseeing. So i’ll put the camera down here.” I said putting it down on the top of the TV. It had the perfect angle so that you could see both beds. I walked in front of the camera and gave it a thumbs up. Walking over to Jai’s bed first i blew into his ear. He shuffled over to the other side of his bed so I followed him kneeling down on his bed. I grabbed the pillow out from under his head. I couldn’t help but laugh because Jai shot up and flipped out.

“What the fuck?” He looked up at me and smiled. I think he was pissed because I woke him up but he couldn’t yell because it was me.

“shh.” I said suggesting that we go wake up Luke who happened to sleep through the whole thing.

Jai got out of the bed. He was still in his boxers and t-shirt. His fans would appreciate this. He went over to the side of the bed next to the wall. We both carefully pulled the layers of blankets off of his bed. Luke was sleeping shirtless. Their fans would really love me. I stroke the spine of his back and you saw him get goose bumps. Jai couldn’t help but laugh. I started to write letters on his back. He moved a little bit. Jai pounced onto his bed. And sat on his back and immediatly started to hump his back. I started to laugh.

“Wake up Lukey!” He yelled. Luke turned around and Jai fell off.

“What the fuck?” He said confused. His voice all groggy from sleeping.

“Good morning pudding pop.”  I said going over to the camera. I got it off of the TV.

“You were recording?” Jai asked getting off of Luke’s bed and said hello to the Camera.

“yep. I’m a ninja recorder.” I told them. Jai laughed. I zoomed in on Luke’s sleeping face. His hair was all over.

“Princess Lukey it’s time to wake up.” I said zooming in and out. He moved the covers from his body revealing the spiderman boxers.

“Nice underwear.” Jai said.

“Fuck off.” He smiled though getting out of his bed and going into the bathroom.

Jai and Luke got dressed and we went downstairs to eat breakfast.

“Jai look it’s snowing!” Luke said looking out the window eating his cereal. I laughed.

“It’s fucking sick.” He said.

“You guys haven’t seen snow before?” I looked at them.

“Maybe a little bit. But it doesn’t really snow in Australia unless you are in Victoria.”

“Well i’m warning you. It’s going to be cold outside.” I told them.

“We have our beanies.” Jai said putting on a red beanie that matched his outfit. Luke also had a beanie on. It was purple. I had a hat on too, but mine was more fashionable then theirs. It was a girls hat.

“I should have worn my cow beanie!” I thought thinking of Luke’s hat.

Jai pulled out his camera.

“Hello guys. Luke would you like to tell us where we are going this snowy morning?”

“I have no idea.” He said his mouth full of cereal.

“Reagan?”

“I think i’m going to show you the giant ToysRUs, the M&M store, Obviously Time’s square, Rockafellar Center because The Christmas Tree should still be up. And oh 5th Avenue  has the best toy store ever!”

“How are we getting there?” Luke asked.

“The subway. My mom mapped everything out. She used to live in Queens and worked in NYC so she is a pro on the subway. Without her we would get lost.”

“Reagan it’s like you never left.”

“Nahh i’m just good with Directions.” I told Jai.

“Let’s go. Before we get stuck in the fucking snow.” Jai and I linked arms. I reached and grabbed Luke because he was being such a baby. He didn’t want to get cold.

“Why is the subway so loud?” Luke yelled over the rambling of the subway. We had to stand up because it was crowded. Jai looked like he was going to die holding onto the hand railing.

“Because we are underground.” I told him.

“Can we record in here?” Jai asked me. He looked less nervous.

“If you want? But New Yorkers aren’t like people in Australia. If you start barking at them they will hit you.” I was being honest. Jai took out his camera and we smushed our faces together so that all three of us could be on the camera.

“Hello. We are on a subway.” Luke said.

“And it’s really loud.” Jai said.

“Get over it.” I said looking at both of them before laughing. Jai shut the camera off because some big guy in a suit who was probably on his lunch break from work looked at him in an intimidating matter.

“Why don’t I have service?” Luke asked looking at his phone.

“Because we are underground. Wait until we are above ground. I’m pretty sure you will have service then.” We got off at the next stop and the boys followed close behind me. Luke was taping at his phone. I assumed he was tweeting. Jai was standing next to me trying to take a picture with his phone of the buildings.

“The one thing about New York is that you have to try not to be such a tourist. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him to the side of the sidewalk. Luke followed us.

“Why?”

“Because the people who live here hate it. Last year was the first year I was able to walk alone. And I learned that New Yorkers get so annoyed by the tourists. They stop in the middle of the sidewalk to take pictures. And they are always slow walkers. If you looked behind us when we were walking Luke was all the way in the back. You have to pick up the pace. Take your pictures now. Because there are going to be plenty of more opportunities.” I said. Jai quickly took pictures and Luke took out his camera and did the same. “Can we continue?” I asked they nodded and we walked down 5th avenue.
