i slammed my phone down on the table in anger, startling chanyeol beside me.

"how could those people just assume i'm pregnant?" i said.

"you are pregnant, baby," chanyeol said.

"yes, but it's wrong to assume! what if i was just fat!"

chanyeol slid his hand into mine and squeezed it gently.

"i'm sorry they upset you but assuming that you're pregnant isn't the biggest problem at the moment," he said. i sighed but nodded.

chanyeol and i were caught. we went on a risky outing to buy baby clothes and we were caught by his fans with cameras. it was bound to happen eventually but we'd kept our marriage for 2 years and we were not ready for it to become public. especially with our baby girl on the way in a few months.

"you're right, i'm sorry," i said. "what are we going to do?"

"whatever we can do for you and the baby to stay safe," he replied. "i can't have you being at risk every time you step out of the house. stress isn't good for you or the little one in your belly."

he rubbed my stomach with his hand so i put mine over it and smiled at him.

"would it be best just to come clean?" i asked.

"i'm going to talk to the managers, okay? we'll talk later," he said. he stood up then leaned down to press a kiss on my forehead.

"you should go and get some rest, you've had a long day," he said. "i love you."

"i love you, more," i replied. i kissed him then waddled to the bedroom where i laid down and fell asleep almost immediately.

chanyeol took me with him to speak to the management and when we arrived, lee sooman did not look very happy with us.

"how did this happen?" he asked.

"we just went out to buy some baby clothes," chanyeol replied.

"we were very careful, both wearing masks to not be identified, and i swear i didn't see any cameras around us," i added. lee sooman sighed and rested his head in his hands.

"well, what do you guys want to do about this?" he asked.

"what do you think we should do?" chanyeol asked.

"if it were my choice, i would have you say that you're nothing more than friends. but, i can see by the looks on your face that you don't like that idea so that's why i'm letting you choose. whatever you want to say we will support the best we can."

chanyeol looked at me and sighed, jutting out his bottom lip.

"i don't want to involve you and the baby in this," he said.

"we're already involved, babe," i said.

"i also don't want to be 'just friends'. you're my wife, i want to be proud about our marriage."

"then we should come clean."

"but our daughter will have to grow up with all of this attention."

"she will anyway, chanyeol, she is your daughter."

he buried his head in his hands so i scooted closet and wrapped my arm around his shoulders.

"i'm sorry for what happened," he whispered.

"hey, it's okay," i said. "i knew what i was getting into when i agreed to marry you, don't take this out on yourself. i think it's best we come clean and show the world how happy and in love we are. what do you say?"

he looked up at me and eventually nodded, smiling slightly.

"okay," he said.
