"I'm leaving now! Bye!" I yelled and waved as I walked out of the Why Don't We house, hearing all of them yell bye. I had no idea where I was going but I wanted to go somewhere. I got into my car and closed the door. Before I started the engine I saw jack run over to my car and opened my door again. "Yes?" I asked with a smile. "Where are you going?" He asked, leaning against the door. "I don't actually know. I just wanna drive around for a while" I shrugged. "Oh ok. Be safe" jack smiled and kissed me.

He closed my door and I started the engine, pulling out of the driveway. I decided to drive around down to Venice beach since it was one of my favourite places to go when I had nothing to do. The drive there was peaceful, my music blasting loudly through the speakers as I sung along.

I finally got to Venice and parked the car. I got out and started to walk along the boardwalk. I went into a few of the shops and ended up buying a few new tops and some shorts. I was walking back to the car but a sign caught my eye. 'Free puppies' with an arrow pointing to a shop across the path that looked to have pens full of puppies in them. A huge smile spread across my face and I excitedly walked over to the shop.

When I walked in a few puppies barked and I melted on the inside. I looked in all the pens, waiting to see a puppy I wanted. I played with a few puppies but I got to the last pen, at the end of the shop and in a corner. In there were 3 German Shepard puppies. They were all jumping on each other but when I walked over one stopped and walked up to me and sat down in front of me. "Oh well you just have 'take me' writing all over you, don't ya?" I laughed crouching down to pet the puppy that sat innocently in front of me. She leaned into my touch as soon as I put my hand on her.

"Oh my god I think I love you" I said as the puppy put my thumb in her mouth as I laughed. I stood up again and looked down at her. She looked up at me and her tail started wagging. "Do you want her? She's a beautiful dog. You'd be very lucky to own her" a lady smiled at me, standing next to me. "Can I have her?" I asked a smile spreading across my face. "Of course! All the dogs in here are free. I believe dogs bring happiness more then anything does and happiness should be free" she smiled at me. I squealed a little and picked up the puppy that hadn't moved from its position in front of me since I walked over.

I held her up to my face and looked into her light brown eyes and she looked back into my eyes. I smiled and held her to my chest. "Here's a leash and a bowl for her" the lady smiled and handed me the leash and bowl. "Thank you so much" I smiled at her. The lady nodded and I walked out of the store, happier then ever.

The walk to car was surprisingly easy. She didn't move at all, looking completely content laying in my arms. I got into the car and she had fallen asleep. I smiled down at her and decided to just keep her on my lap to sleep. We got to a red traffic light and I looked down at her. She moved around a bit, still asleep. She reminded me a lot of jack. Adorable brown eyes, the most loving, calm and amazing personality and last but not least. We'd been in the car for 20 minuets and she's still asleep.

The light turned green and I started driving again, trying to think of a name for my new baby. The words the lady said to me repeated in my head.

"You'd be very lucky to own her" Lucky. I glanced back down at her. Lucky suited her perfectly.

I pulled into the boys driveway. I planned out how I was gonna tell them that I just bought a dog on the way here so I didn't need to worry about that. I gently picked up lucky and got out of the car. I grabbed the leash and bowl and walked up to the front door, opening it. All the boys eyes landed on me and then traveled down to the sleeping dog in my arms. Daniel and Zachs jaws dropped and Jonah walked up to me, closely followed by the other 4 boys.

"Holy shit it's adorable" Jonah said and stroked her head. Lucky stretched and all the boys 'aww'ed. I pulled out my phone and recorded all of them, looking at lucky. "I've never seen a group of teenage boys look so vulnerable" I laughed and put my phone in my back pocket. "Shut up y/n" Zach said, his eyes not leaving lucky.

It'd been 3 hours since I bought lucky home and it wasn't until an hour ago that the boys left me alone. I was in jack and I's shared room as lucky slept in a ball on my lap as I watched a movie. She hadn't left me since I got her. All the boys tried to hold her but she wouldn't stop barking so they gave her back to me and I had to put up with all of them following me everywhere to pet her. I tried to put her down outside to run around but she sat at my feet and looked up at me. This dog was more loyal then most people.

The door opened and jack walked in, laying next to me trying not to wake up lucky. Lucky must've felt the bed move when jack got in because jack is incapable of doing almost anything gently or quietly because she suddenly woke up and barked at him. "Lucky" I said and she wagged her tail and looked over at me. Amazingly she was already responding to her name. "That's your dad. You can't bark at him" I said with a little laugh. Lucky lied back down on my lap but didn't take her eyes off jack.

"Babe kiss me" I said to jack as he looked at me confused but did it anyway. Before his lips were on mine, lucky started barking. I laughed and jack looked down at her. "You can't steal her from me. That isn't allowed" jack said to lucky. She ignored him and turned around, lying back down. I laughed again as jack acted offended.

"She reminds me a lot of myself" jack said and looked at me. "I thought the exact same thing when I first got her" I smiled as jack laughed a little. "Please don't leave me for her though. I mean she's cute and all but I'm better" jack said. "We'll see" I said trying to keep a straight face. Jack slapped my arm playfully but before I could do anything lucky was barking at him again. I burst out in a fit of laughter as jack looked at her in disbelief. "Ok, ok. Stop now" jack whined as lucky continued to bark at him

I put my hand on lucky and she stopped barking. "This dog has more personality and loyalty then most people" I said as she lied down. "True" jack responded simply.

The movie finished and I turned the tv off. Both of my babies were asleep, jacks arm was around me keeping me close to him and lucky was asleep on my stomach.

I fell asleep and then woke up to a beautiful sight. Lucky was in the little gap between mine and jacks bodies, cuddled up very closely to jack. She moved a little and tried to closer to jack. I felt jacks arm move out from under my pillow and bring lucky closer to him, both of them still asleep.

I should be the one called lucky.

Ok but can u imagine waking up to see your dog cuddled up to your boyfriend.
I'd fucking melt and sorry this is so long
