Pardon me for my lack of excitement,

But I'm not entirely thrilled.

Stutter when I talk,

Flail around as I walk,

Yeah the moment's been killed.

"How's your hicky?" I heard from across the room.

"Huh?" I asked propping myself on my elbows to see Luke.

"How's your hicky?" he asked again.

"Sore. He's violent," he chuckled slightly and rested his hands under his head.

"It wasn't that nice to watch either," he admitted.

"I saw something on your face. Was it jealousy?" I smirked.

"Nah. I have my eye on someone," he smiled and I smiled back but felt a pang in my heart. "What about you? Do you have an eye on someone?"

"Yeah," I smiled.

"What's he like?"

"Kind, funny, nice, caring, tall, brave...I can't think of anything else," I said laughing quietly.

"I forgot to give you your pill"

"I can get it," I told him.

"I'm hiding them," he said then got out of the bed and searched through his suitcase. He quickly walked to the kitchen he came back with a glass of water, "here," he smiled and handed them to me.

"I could have gotten my own glass," I smiled.

"I was already up," he shrugged.

I swallowed and drank the rest of the water then handed him the glass, "thanks".

"No problem," he said then gestured for me to slide over.

"What are you doing?"

"Last night helped didn't it?"

"Yeah..."

"Then I'm helping," he smiled and pulled me close.

"Hey Luke?" I said after a while of comfortable silence.

"Yeah?" he asked twirling a piece of my hair between his fingers.

"Why did you decide to pull me back?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Ashton asked me how we met today and yeah...I just wanted to know"

"As I said at the hospital...no one else was doing anything and I couldn't do nothing so I just pulled you back"

"Yeah but what was running through your mind?"

"I was just scared for you and sad. I just couldn't imagine life being so bad for someone that they would want to jump"

"You'd want to jump too if you've experienced what I've experienced," I told him. "I want a tutu," I blurted after a while.

"Pardon me?"

"Can I buy a tutu tomorrow?"

"Yeah...why?"

"I don't know, I just want a tutu"

"Why?"

"I've never had one so I want to know what it's like"

"Not even as a little girl?"

"My parents never believed in being someone you're not. I don't know why I listen to them. They're not even my real parents," I said then covered my mouth.

"Goodnight Brooklyn," he whispered shrugging off what I just said.

"Night Luke," I said snuggling into him more.
