Banishment

Rachel's POV

My tears mixed with the Ocean as I traveled away from the place I once thought of as home . A mermaid banished to land , one of the cruelest punishments there is . And I was
Given it . Each step was like walking On broken glass . It is said that some mermaids have killed themselves rather than bear with the constant pain .
I saw an island ahead and stopped . Taking one last look at my tail before it would be gone forever . The deep red of my tail was one of the rarest colours and I loved it . I took a deep breath and swam the final stretch toward land . My tail began to tingle , I looked down and saw my tail turning into legs . I took my first steps and a unbearable pain shot through me , Keep going I thought to myself . I continued to walk my new feet felt weird touching the sand but the pain made it so it was all I could think about . In that moment I couldn't continue and I collapsed into the sand and cried . I felt pathetic worthless . this is not how I wanted my life to be

Peters POV

The lost boys and I were playing hide and seek . well , I was . they were running away , One of them went in my cabin and none of them will confess to who it was . so now there all getting punished .
I walked out of the jungle onto the beach and saw ... a girl , lying in the sand naked . I took off my jacket and walked over to her . Hero's never look . but then again , was i considered a hero . Her long hair covered her face . I laid my jacket over her body . I placed my arms under he neck and legs and lifted her up she stirred slightly but did not wake . I brought her back to camp and laid her down on a cot . I swept back a few loose strands of hair from her face and saw her beauty . Her lips were plump he face beautiful ever feature perfect . The lost boys still hasn't shown up and probably wouldn't for a couple of days

RACHEL'S POV

My eyes flutter opened as the sun shone down . I sat up and looked at my surroundings . A thick Forrest filled with forever changing green and amber filled the space around me . There were tents and a place for a bomb fire surrounded by logs . I presume we're for sitting on . I lifted the cover on top of me and realised I was nude . I blushed slightly . but couldn't help my curiosity . everything was so weird . " Your awake " I heard a voice , I looked up and saw a boy around 17 staring at me . " Um how did I get here ? " I asked " who are you?"
"Oh I am sorry did I forget to introduce myself . I am Peter . Peter Pan . " His eyebrows furrowed an I realised the duvet had fallen . I quickly scrambled to grab the duvet . And he laughed " there's some clothes on the table over there for you " he said pointing in the direction of the table . I began to make my way over but soon collapsed one again because if the pain . I expected the ground to meet but me! but instead I was suspended in the air. I looked up to see Peter had caught me " um thank you " He sat me back down onto the cot and brought the clothes to me . " I never caught your name " Peter said . " Its Rachel " I replied " beautful " he began , raising an eyebrow and smirking " you know Rachel, you seem to be falling over a lot " he said whilst running his fingers down my back , causing me to shiver at his touch. " wouldnt you if each step you took cause extream amounts agony ." I said laughing . I dont know why i was laughing, was it a nervous laugh or was I being stupid . I looked at Peters shinging emerlad eyes that were filled concerned " Rachel " . Ops . I hadnt really had the chance to tell Peter I am a mermaid banished from Atlanta because I kidnapped the kings daughter , apparently . Its a lie . Ariel and I were best friends , then she got in a huge fight with her father so she stayed at mine for a few days , then guards came and accused me . " Oh , did i forget to mention , this is my first time walking .... I was a mermaid .. Banished from atlanta "

" not a syrin then ? " Peter asked . " No . of corse not why would you think i was a s-" I was cut off by Peter putting his soft lips against mine, The kiss was gentel and beautiful , Peter trailed his hand down to my hip and the other around the back of my neck . We broke away and i saw Peters shining like the glimmering jewls I've seen in the darkest part of the ocean . He took his hands away and rubbed the back of his neck . " Sorry i couldnt help myself " with that Peter left and gave me a cheeky wink as he did so . Maybe Banishment wount be so bad afterall  xxx
