Lost forever.

I look down at myself and see

a hopeless teenager, but he might succeed

if he tries hard enough and puts effort into it,

his dream, that he wants so badly

even though he tries so hard already.

Part of his dream is rather unfortunate.

It includes a girl that he loves

but she never loved him back.

See, he can't get over her no matter how hard he tries

but she's fine, even wants to be friends.

Why can't she see that he's crazy about her

and there's a hole in his chest where his heart used to be

because she still has it, he gave it to her

but now he's bleeding out without her reassurance

and he can't handle this shit anymore

because he can't trust her with anything.

He can't get over her and never will

but he'll never reveal this to her

even though it'd be better to talk it out

but no, she can never find out

there's no point anyway, she doesn't care.

She just assumes he's over her

and that it's all just a simple, little thing

so she obviously lied when she said I love you

because if she was feeling the love he felt

she would feel empty, alone, and lost like him.

She'd be trying to find her heart in an endless maze

because it's lost and cannot be found

and stumbling, falling down this path

and no one to help because all love is lost.

Lost forever to the wanderer, never to be found again.
