In the midst of their bustling day, Chuuya's attention was drawn to a subtle detail that sent a surge of anger coursing through him. Glancing at Dazai's hand, he noticed the absence of his wedding ring, a small but significant omission that set his blood boiling.

Despite his efforts to maintain his composure, Chuuya couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal that washed over him. Had Dazai purposefully removed his ring, or was it simply an oversight? The uncertainty gnawed at him, fueling his anger and resentment.

Throughout the day, Chuuya struggled to contain his emotions, the sight of Dazai's bare finger a constant reminder of his perceived betrayal. He found himself withdrawing into himself, his usual warmth replaced by a simmering fury that colored his interactions with icy disdain.

Despite Dazai's attempts to reach out, Chuuya remained obstinately silent, his anger a palpable presence between them. He couldn't bring himself to confront Dazai directly, his pride and hurt feelings keeping him from acknowledging the true source of his anger.

As the day wore on, Chuuya's resentment only grew, festering like an open wound that refused to heal. He couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal that gnawed at him, the question of Dazai's intentions haunting his every thought.

In the quiet moments of the evening, alone with his thoughts, Chuuya allowed himself to acknowledge the depth of his hurt. The realization that Dazai might have purposefully removed his ring cut him to the core, stirring up a whirlwind of conflicting emotions within him.

But even as anger and hurt threatened to overwhelm him, Chuuya remained determined to maintain his facade of indifference. He couldn't afford to show weakness, not when he felt so vulnerable and exposed.

So he buried his feelings deep down inside, locking them away behind a wall of stoic resolve. But beneath the surface, his anger burned on, a silent testament to the rift that had formed between them.

Feeling the weight of Chuuya's cold indifference bearing down on him like a leaden shroud, Dazai's frustration boiled over, igniting a simmering anger that had been building within him all day. Unable to bear the silent rejection any longer, he reached out and seized Chuuya's wrist, his grip firm and unyielding.

"What the hell is the matter with you?" Dazai demanded, his voice laced with a raw edge of emotion. He could feel the tension crackling in the air between them, a palpable barrier that seemed insurmountable.

Chuuya's gaze flickered briefly to where Dazai's hand clamped around his wrist, his expression a mask of stoic defiance. But beneath the facade, Dazai could sense the turmoil raging within him, a tempest of conflicting emotions that mirrored his own.

"You've been avoiding me all day," Dazai continued, his voice softer now, tinged with a note of pleading. "Acting like I don't even exist. What did I do to deserve this?"

For a moment, Chuuya remained silent, his features locked in a tense expression as he wrestled with his own inner demons. But then, with a heavy sigh, he relented, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

"I.. I saw you take off your wedding ring this morning," Chuuya admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "And I couldn't help but wonder... if maybe you regretted being with me."

Then, as if a dam had burst within him, Chuuya's composure crumbled, his facade of stoic indifference shattering like glass. Tears welled up in his eyes, blurring his vision as he struggled to process the depth of emotion coursing through him. His shoulders shaking with the effort to contain his overwhelming feelings. With a voice thick with emotion, that when he finally spoke, his words choked with tears.

Dazai's heart clenched at the words, a surge of guilt and remorse flooding through him like a tidal wave. He had never intended to hurt Chuuya, had never wanted to give him cause to doubt his love.

But now, faced with the pain and anguish etched into Chuuya's features, Dazai knew that he had to make things right. Stepping closer, he released Chuuya's wrist and cupped his cheek, his touch gentle and tender.

"I would never regret being with you," Dazai whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "You mean everything to me, Chuuya. I love you more than words can say." At that, Chuuya fell into Dazai's arms, sobbing.

And as he gazed into Chuuya's eyes, Dazai knew that his words were true. No matter what challenges lay ahead, no matter what trials they faced, they would always stand together, united by a love that was as unbreakable as it was enduring.

Dazai's wedding ring was hanging around his neck, covered by the thick layers of fabric. After this, Dazai soon put his ring back where it belonged, on his ring finger.
