"Princess? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" My brother asked frantically as I enter his bedroom. "Are you hurt?"
"Why doesn't Gio like me?" I whisper.
"Lexi... I had plans to meet up with a friend..." He sighed, "I'll cancel, it's fine. Come lay down."
I oblige, other than Dante and Alessio, he's my favorite brother... He doesn't blame me for anything and he has never yelled at me even if I'm annoying him like I am right now.
"I don't know what I did wrong."
"You did nothing wrong hun', Giovanni is a fucking asshole and no matter how many times mama and papa get onto his ass, I don't see him stopping... Some people are incapable of change Tesoro. That isn't your fault though, I don't know what went wrong with him..... Also please don't repeat that... Mama would kill me if you start skipping around calling everyone 'fucking assholes'." I shake my head, "I heard something about an attack at the docks so they left to sort it out. Gio was put in charge like always because he's the oldest."
"Of course," he mumbles sarcastically, "and where's Dante and Alessio?"
"Zio Amado picked up DanDan a little bit ago and Ally is finishing his homework." [Italian Translation: Uncle]
"Alright... Okay... I'm going to go and get you some water and a snack, you just lay down and relax for a while, sound good?"
