Chap 13 : bye ii (F&B)

Mio go to her room first. She need to organise all her things. She will stay only one more night and after that, all of the process will be supervised by Daniel. She didn't plan to stay untill the project done since its not her who sponsored. But Daniel will constantly update to her.

Not long after that, Freen and Becky come back to the room.

"What time you guys will go back" ask Mio. She is now sit on the bed, playing with her phone.

"Erm, we don't sure yet. Maybe after we go around the village? We didn't get a chance to fully explore the village yet. And you? Wanna join?" Ask Freen. They also start to pack up their things.

"No, I have plans this afternoon. I'm gonna be a bit busy until tomorrow. " Mio call Daniel, want to inform about site visit this afternoon.

(In Thai)

"Hello, Daniel. This afternoon on 5 o'clock, we will go see the site.... yup... dont be late ..... okay, bye" when she end the call, she look at Freen and Becky that look at her with disbelief.

"You can speak thai? Then why didn't you tell us?" Ask Freen.

"Yes... you know Freen have a hard time to communicate with you"said Becky.

"First of all, I'm sorry because I didn't tell you guys. Secondly, I just thought that Khun Jim choose me because he want a foreigner, so I act like one. And, I'm foreigner. Well, you guys get to practice speaking with me tho. And I don't see any problem when communicate with Freen" Mio answer their question in a calm manner. And in a second after she answer, a flying rabbit bear landing on ther face. Not long after that, a flying care bears also nicely landing on her face.

Mio see stars and ducks for a second before back to real world. Well, she has predict that they will be angry because she hide this fact, but she didn't expect for them to give her a flying bears.

"Ouh, you guys are so kind. Thank you for the gift." Mio hug both the rabbit and carebear tightly made Freen and Becky face shocked. How can they give their beloved bears to others. Both of them run toward Mio to take back their bears. When they still fight over the bears, someone knock on the door.

"Mio, are you ready?" Shout Daniel. Mio let go the bears and stand up. Freen and Becky just look at Mio go while hugging their bears.

"Bye ii. See you when I see you" said Mio before disappear from their vision. Freen and Becky just look at each other.

"Was that how we supposed to say our goodbye?" Ask Becky.

"Don't care. Lets go, continue packing and go for a walk." Said Freen. After 10 minutes, the finish packing their stuff and go roaming around the village.

They go to convenience store to buy milk tea and some snack before decide to go to the river where they had their second photoshoot. They spend some time there before continue to walk around.

"Isn't this the place where there is many people gather? On the day of our photoshoot?" ask Becky to Freen. Freen nodded agree.

"Wanna go see what actually happened?" Ask Freen and Becky agree. When they move closer, their eyes catch 2 figure that seem familiar. They seem busy discussing something with each other.

"Mio? Is that you?" said Freen. Mio turn her head when someone call her and she see Freen and Becky walk toward her. She then wave her hand to them.

"What are you guys doing here? I thought you guys walk around the village?" Ask Mio. Freen offer her milk tea to Mio and Mio take a sip.

"Yeah, we just got back from the river and saw you here. What are you doing here?" Ask Freen.

"We are working on our project. We are helping one of the villagers here to build their house. And here our architect." Daniel answer Freen question before Mio can open her mouth.

"Architect? Isn't your occupation is photographer?" Ask Becky.

"You guys didn't know? She has master in architecture. Photographer is just he hobby." Answer Daniel again made Mio a bit mad.

"Mind your own business Daniel." said Mio, cut Daniel word before he keep talking nonsense.

"Wow, you're so amazing" Becky respond with a thumbs up.

"No, photographer is indeed my main occupation now. Being architect just when sommeone need me" said Mio again. Didn't want they got wrong idea about her.

"Ouh. Then, continue your work. We will go first. Don't want to disturb you guys. Bye ii" Becky also say bye before follow Freen. After they go, Mio hand hit Daniel's back head.

"Are you crazy? Of course they didn't know. I just know them for a couple of day. Are you aspect them to know all my history?" said Mio in angry tone before leave Daniel and go toward the head villagers.

"Am I wrong to tell them? Was that supposed to be secret?" Daniel ask himself, still confuse what he had done to deserve the hit.

Mio done her work around 8 p.m. and decide to go back. Tomorrow, she just need to confirm some things and he will let Daniel settle the others.

When she arrive at the homestay, she look at Freen and Becky luggage still there.

"Shouldn't they went back already? Why their luggage still here?" said Mio to herself. She then take out her phone to make a call but just then she realize that she doesn't have either Freen or Becky phone number.

'The sky had already dark. Where they go. They never walk around at night. What happen if they got lost? Is something happened to them?' Mio start to overthinking. She call the head villagers to help her find them and she call Khun Jim to ask Freen and Becky phone number without telling what actually happened.

Mio call Freen and Becky but they didn't answer. Almost 15 minutes she tried to call but still didn't get it.

"What happened?" ask Daniel who just heard what happened from head villagers. He rushed to go see Mio to make sure Mio is okay.

"Freen and Becky haven't come back yet. Its already dark outside." said Mio with worried face.

"Calm down yourself first. Khun Meng has gathers all villagers and already start searching for them. Have you tried to call them?" Daniel make Mio sit at dining table, trying to calm her.

"Yes, I've tried but they didn't answer. What if they were kidnapped? And murdered? And..."

"Hey, hey.. Calm down okay. Nothing will happen them. They will be okay. Don't think to much." Daniel cut Mio world.

"But if they got into incident like Rachel and Ruby..... I don't think I can forgive myself" say Mio again. Daniel pull Mio head closer to his chest and hug her.

"No, that's not gonna happen because if that happen, I cannot forgive myself too?" said Daniel. For a moment, the room filled with silence. Both of them tried to chase away negative thought that came into their mind.
