yoongi hadn't eaten in 3 days, or left the house.

he was overreacting, he knew that but he felt replaced. it affected everything he did. he would cry and sob when taehyung wasn't home and keep a blank expression when he wasn't home.

taehyung hated seeing the boy like this. yoongi would randomly break down during the day and he didn't understand why because yoongi didn't want to communicate.

"what's wrong? please tell me" taehyung mumbled as he caressed yoongi's dark hair. yoongi stayed silent.

"my parents got a new foster child" he spoke, his voice hoarse after not speaking for 3 days, "they didn't tell me or anything so it was just a surprise and i feel replaced" yoongi said, taehyung's expression softened.

"but i'm just being a selfish bitch over it! that's why i'm upset! i'm upset over feeling replaced yet feeling selfish!" he loudly spoke, sobbing into his pillow.

taehyung tried to caress his back but yoongi didn't let him, "don't touch me please" he cried.

taehyung wanted to offer him alone time but knew the boy would end up hurting himself so he didn't.

"i think it's okay to feel like this. i don't really know how to answer in all honesty" taehyung mumbled, he didn't earn a response from yoongi.

yoongi closed his eyes that were burning. all he asked for was a night without nightmares.

yoongi picked at the fruit taehyung cut up for him. his tired eyes stared at the grapes and taehyung.

yoongi slowly chewed a strawberry, his stomach grumbling for more.

"how do they taste?" taehyung smiled, yoongi shrugged, "nothing really has flavor" he mumbled. sometimes things didn't have a meaning when he was struggling with so much.
