**JOS P.O.V**

"Hey Jos" I glanced up to Ron "yeah what's up?" I asked marking my page. "Mcgonagall wants all the Gryffindor house" I nodded buttoning up my pea-coat and adjusting my maroon beanie, it's gotten extremely cold around here, not snowing yet but the grey clouds are threatening to let down the frozen flakes.

I stood up with my brother. I'm proud to say that I have been doing really well lately and spending a lot of time with everybody. The friendship that I felt slipping away with Hermione was repaired, thank goodness. I apologized not really being able to give an explanation but she took it nonetheless and we are back to our best friend ways.

I looped my arm through Rons as we walked, why? Well because I felt like it. "You know you have gotten taller" he commented "and your hair has gotten obnoxiously long" I noted looking at the ginger mess and he chuckled his chest vibrating.

Ron was leading me to one of the vacant classrooms and I took off my jacket hanging it up on one of the vacant racks putting my beanie in one of the pockets. We were one of the earliest ones. The only other people here were the Patil twins and Neville whom we walked over to "hello neville" i said smiling and he smiled back "hello, your eyes are quite bright today joslyn!" He said his eyes wide and I blushed "like they are glowing" he chuckled and Ron snickered "they are quite special" He noted, inudged him hardly in the ribs making him groan and bend over I just smiled continuing talking casually "so do you know what this is all about?" He was gonna answer when my vision suddenly went black and something warm was covering my face "guess who?" I giggled knowing immediately "hmmm I don't know could it be my green eyed boyfriend?" "Nahh" he laughed removing his hands and I spun around grinning ear to ear his green eyes grew the size of the moon "well your eyes are a bit on the extreme end today" he laughed holding my cheeks "the blue is like shining" I just blushed "neville said they were too" he just kissed my cheek and I turned around facing them again. By now most of the house was here. Flich and Mcgonagall went to the middle of the room "BOYS ON ONE SIDE GIRLS ON THE OTHER" I kissed Harry on the cheek and walked over with Hermione to the side of the room we were directed in. silent as Mcgongall Stood at the head of the room "now kids I have a very imp-" she was cut off by laughing, the source was from Harry and Ron on the other side of the room, Rons face was red as he covered his mouth oblivious to The angry professor peircing her eyes in to him, Harry was no better "Potter! Weasley! Will you pay attention?" Professor Mcgonagalls irritated voice cracked like a whip. That shut them up instantly. Wonder what they were going on about. "Now, Potter and Weasley have been kind enough to act their own age" she said bitterly tossing an angry look at the two boys. "I have something to say to all! The Yule ball is approaching! - a traditional part of the Triwizard Tournament -and an opportunity to socialize with our foreign guests!"

"Dress robes, and elegant dresses will be worn" she continued "and the Yule Ball will start at 8 o'clock on Christmas Day ending at Midnight in the great hall, now then-" she stared us all down "The Yule ball is of course a chance to -er- let your hair down" she stared at some of us disapprovingly "however that does not mean that you are aloud to run around like a bunch of nitwits! We will not be an Embarressment to the Gryffindor house and Grodrick Gryffindor him self, now Lady's in each of you ly a beautiful swan waiting to burst out and In each gentlemen ly a courageous Lion, it will be a time to put your best foot forward, and I mean that literally because the Yule Ball is first and foremost...A Dance!" At that the girls (including hermione) all smiled big and let out excited squeals while the boys all groaned. Professor M's eyes glared viciously at all the boys.
