"You're acting like I've not got experience" Marinette rolled her eyes

"OK! chop chop, let's go!" ??? walk down the large stairs, Straightening his suit.

"Awwww you look so cute" ??? Smirked
"Enjoy your life when you have it" Marinette smirked

"The feelings mutual." Marinette shrugged, Stepping Into the lights and flashes of the Paparazzi cameras

"Oh my God, will you stop acting like it's my first gala just like my eighth one?!"

Marinette groaned, Before spotting a familar blonde girl

Marinette was interrupted by a bright flash
"Ms ??? How do you feel being ???"
"Ms ??? are you really ??? or-"
"Why are you really hiding your identity Ms ???"
??? Noticing the rush Interrupted the reporters
"Hey! There's a reason she's masked and hidden away from society! And in case you didn't understand It means stop bothering her and risking her safety!" ??? Almost sneered
"Hurry up kiddo" ??? Muttered
"Dude I'm wearing stilettos"
"That isn't making any taller"
She glared at him, he immediately looked at away Not wanting to be a victim of the ???glare
God that reminded him of Bruce.

"hey Hun?"
"Hm?" she hummed questioningly
"you need to absolutely stay. away. from Bruce Wayne. get it? Bruce. Wayne." ??? Warned seriously
"Ok..." Marinette said slowly, waving at the cameras "why?"
"Just do it. will ya? listen to me for once."

The large doors opened sending Marinette a nervous shiver.
"You don't have to come if you don't want to."
"I'm fine" she smiled
"OK here are some ground rules-"
"There are rules?!"
??? Nodded continuing "Stay away from Bruce Wayne"
"Weird, but OK"
"And absolutely stay 7 feet away from boys"
"That will be a problem"
"??? ! It's been so long!" an Asian man exclaimed "This must be ???, Pleasure to meet you at last"
Marinette smiled, shaking his hand
"the pleasure is mine."
"This is my son, Brad"

She looked at the familiar messy, ash blonde hair.
Oh no, not this guy.
"My name is Brad." He repeated Taking her hand And giving it a soft kiss
"Uhhhh..." Marinette shot a panicked look to ???- who was glaring daggers at Brad-
Brad's father (whoever he was...) Laughed, not noticing the tension.
"Honey, wasn't queenie around? I think she might be looking for you." ??? Interrupted still glaring at brad.
She nodded, thanking him internally, before rushing off.
Marinette looked around searching for Chloe as hushed whispers and stares bore into her.
She blushed, embarrassed from all the attention. Many tried to have conversations with her but she always gave them short answers. Her task was to find Chloe and that's exactly what she was doing.
Marinette sighed "??? ?"
"Yes?"
"Would you mind tracking Chloe's phone for me
"not at all...She's near the stairs"
"Thanks a lot ???"
"It's no- look out!-"

"Never mind" ??? Muttered
Marinette looked up, ready to apologize....
Marinette's Bright blue bell eyes met cold Emerald Green eyes.
She raised a perfected eyebrow
"Wayne?"
"???, I never expected you to be here." He stated, smirking.
"Guess life isn't what we expect" she smirked back
