Jimin POV
"God you're supposed to be the smart one here," I said leaning against the wall of the small hospital room holding a bunch of folders in a nice suit.
"I thought I could fix the printer I didn't think it would eat my hand," Namjoon said sitting in the hospital bed his hand wrapped in bandages.
"You dumb ass what did you think would happen if you stuck your whole hand down the printer?" I said crossing my arms.
"I could fix cars in highschool so I thought I could fix it don't yell at me I'm hurt," Namjoon said I rolled my eyes.
"Well I was In the middle of doing my work when I heard your screams of pain now we're here at 8 pm," I said
"Your a cruel boss" he scoffed I laughed walking towards him.
"I wish this would hurry up I have to drop these papers off at the dealership or nobody gets paid tomorrow" I stated suddenly the doctor walks in.
"Well everything looks good Mr.Kim your X-rays came back and showed no bones are broken just a few sprain fingers should be healed in a month or less I wrote you a prescription for some pain meds just in case but you're free to go," the doctor said I nodded and Namjoon stood up.
"Thank you doc," Namjoon said
"Yes thank you we will probably be back if the fax machine breaks," I said Namjoon glared at me.
"Of course you boys have a good night and avoid printers Mr.Kim," Namjoon said
We both smiled and nodded at the doctor and left the room we walk down the hallway trying to find the exit of this giant hospital it's like 8 floors.
"I love how the tables have turned I'm taking care of you now," I said as we walked down the hallway towards the elevator.
"Whatever my one to you're thirty," he said
"Yeah let's just get out of here drop this off and go home I'm tired" I huffed pressing the button on the elevator.
"So eager to go home to watch Spiderman and order takeout," Namjoon said once the elevator got here we stepped in.
"Yes, Peter Parker and Chinese food are waiting for me let's go," I said the elevator takes us to the bottom floor we walk down a hallway.
"You need more friends or a pet....maybe go on a date," Namjoon said I look over at him as we walk he sighs.
"Listen Park it's just.....you drown yourself in work and Jin and I think you just need to relax have some fun I mean it's been years since you and thou who shall not be named broke up you deserve to be happy," Namjoon said
I huff and just blink at him "Why did you get so sentimental all of a sudden" I joked trying to avoid answering him.
"I'm serious," Namjoon said we finally get towards the exit of the hospital.
"I told you guys so many times I'm fine he moved on he made that very clear....but I'm fine don't worry about me," I said I open the folder looking down at it as we walked into the lobby of the hospital "Now back to work we need to drop these off quickly Min-Sun is waiting for us at the dealership" I added looking down at the papers in the folder making sure everything is right.
Suddenly someone bumps into me hard making all the papers in the folder fall out of my hand all over the floor I stare at the ground my hard work all over the dirty ground.
I scoff loud "Jesus fuck watch where you're going" I spat at whoever bumped into me.
I see ahead of blonde hair kneeling on the ground picking up the papers.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry sir it was all my fault I'll pick these up for you," they said but I froze in place my heartbeat speeds up rapidly.
No way...
It can't be him
But I would know that voice anywhere
"Y-Yoongi?" I whispered I hear Namjoon suck in a breath the blonde boy stops moving after hearing me speak.
The blonde slowly looks up and we lock eyes and his warm sharp brown eyes looking into mine again after three eyes I feel my breath get knocked out of my lungs my heart beating so fast it might fly out of my chest.
We just stare for so long at each other which was only probably a few seconds until Yoongi's phone rings knocking us both out of the little trace we were in he looks away and shakes his head.
He is still kneeling on the ground he his picking up the fallen paper with shaky hands.
"U-Uh sorry S-Sir," he said and picked up all the papers and stood up slowly.
I just watch him not believing my eyes he is looking down and hands me the papers I don't take them.
"Yoongi?" I said again I see him tense he huffed and is still looking down.
"I-I gotta g-go there p-paging me...Uh take your f-folders s-sir and I'm s-sorry for being c-clumsy and knocking into you" he said I still don't take the folders back I can't move to see the man I have been thinking about non-stop for three years in front of me again.
Suddenly Namjoon grabs the folders seeing that I'm not moving and stands back behind me.
Suddenly Yoongi bows and tries to leave I snap out of it.
"Wait!" I yelled causing him to freeze I grab his sleeve he is wearing mint scrubs his blonde hair long right at his ears he slowly turns around to look at me brown eyes looking at me again.
"Wait" I whispered and held his sleeve tighter "Don't leave again" I mumbled he sighed and looked down.
"I h-have to go," He said so softly I move to stand in front of him and now the whole hospital lobby is watching us but I don't care at all.
"Stop running away from me Yoongi," I said he looked up at me like he was scanning my face.
"I'm n-not...I really need to get back to w-work" he said and tried to walk away again I grabbed his wrist I feel him get tense at our touch.
"C-Can we talk p-please! Don't I deserve that?! For you to at least talk to me Yoongi!" I spat his eyes widen and he looks around at everyone looking at us then he looks back at me with a glare.
"Stop yelling Jimin this is my place of work and I'm late for my job so let me go right now" he whispered yelled at me glare hard.
I let go of his wrist and let out a shaky sigh it felt nice hearing him say my name again.
"Please Y-Yoongi," I said his gaze softens
"O-Okay I have a break in an hour meet me in the hospital garden," He said I nodded slowly
"Okay" I whispered
"Okay," he said back "see you in a bit I promise," he said I tense
He broke all his promises...
I just nodded and he walked away I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
I feel a hand on my shoulder "Damn that was so intense felt like I was watching a drama" he said I shake my head at him
"I didn't know he was back.." I said
"Me either," Namjoon said "what are you gonna say," he asked
"I thought I would be pissed when I saw him again that I would be mad at him for breaking us up for giving up on us but...when I saw him again I felt relieved" I said
"Well, are you ready to talk to him?" He asked
"I think I don't know I lost all brain function just looking at him," I said
"Don't let him just bat his eyelashes at you and you fall weak for him be strong my dude" he said I scoffed.
"Whatever I don't do that" I huffed
"Yeah sure," Namjoon said I pull out my phone a start tapping away.
"Listen I'll order you a cab you drop those off for me I'll stay and wait for Yoongi," I said
"Do you really wanna open this can of worms again...took you so long to even smile again Jimin" he said I pat his shoulder.
"I'm fine buddy I-I just want some answers," I said
"Okay well then good luck I'm on your side Park," he said I nodded and waved goodbye he walked out as I head for the garden and sit on the bench waiting...
