A/N-reader is like... 15? you can change it around as you wish.
It was the first days of November, and today was the first storm, it was raining heavily, and through the dark skies of the night were rambling loudly thunders and lightnings.
Alan is standing outside of his big house, fummbling with his keys as he couldnt see which one was to open the front door of his house. his hands are covered in gloves, and in one hand hes holding his bag, until the key turns and he pushes the door open and goes inside, closing the door behind him.
his house is big and comfortable, and so much warmer then the cold and rainy outside. he gets out of his shoes and coat and puts the bag down, and the keys on the side table beside the entrance. strange, he thought, you usualy come to great him when you hear the door open. he shruggs it off, thinking theres a chance you didnt hear the car pull up and the door open because of the storm, or maybe you were already asleep, though chances are low, as you usualy cant fall asleep if you know he is not home.
he starts wondering his big house, first goes the kitchen, he makes himself a cup of hot tea. then, he walks through the living room, sitting silently just as it was left. he starts walking down the dark hallway, all the doors are closed as usual.
he passes the door of the study, closed, and then the bathroom, and then more doors, closed, silent, and dark, as he thought they would be at this time late at night. when he passes your room, its silent, just as before, but from the crack in the open door he sees the dim light of your warm yellow light. he sets his hand on the handle of the door and pushes the door open into the dark, cold room, lit by the dim yellow light.
he looks over the room with a smile, expecting to see you sleeping with your book lying somewhere around, but instead, he sees you lying on the floor, curled in a little ball, your knees pulled up and your elbows hugged to your chest in a vital position, and the orange cat is sitting in the curve of the vital position, rubbing his ears on the girls neck and shoulders.
immediatly, he sets his cup down and falls down to his knees beside you, rubbing his hand up and down your arm "darling, whats wrong?" his velvety voice cuts through the air, but you just curl further into the ball position and let out a sad, howly cry. "{Y/N} look at me" he says a little more concerned now, that he is sure that youre crying.
you dont move, and let out another sob and then 3 following sobs, then rubbed the sleeve of your shirt on your eyes and closed your position a little more. "turn around please" he says, moving pieces of your {H/C} hair out of your face, now visible to him your red cheeks. he runs his big palm down to your hand and grabs it, and starts rubbing his thumb over your knuckles, feeling how cold your hand is.
"{Y/N}, lets move to the bed please" he says and tugs on your hand a little. you comply and slowly stand up on your shaky legs as your dad sits down on your bed and leans his back on the headboard, and you immediatly break down and fall forward on him, your head on your chest as you hug him and cry silently.
Alan, evwn if stunned by your fast movements, he immediatly hugs you back, one hand stroking your hair softly, and the other holding around you. "shh... its ok... shh..." he shushes you quietly, kissing your head every now and then, while you stay there, crying and hugging him.
he starting to get worried, what could be the reason for this breakdown, that you still havent uttered out a single word? problems at school? but youre such a bright student... friends? your friends may be numbered, but they are loyal, and you usualy have so much fun with them...
"princess, lets try this again? what happened?" he asks, stroking your haur out if your face and kissing your head again. you take a few seconds and try to calm your breath and aching red eyes before you sigh, and with a shaky voice you say,
"today, im feeling sad"
you whispered, curling deeper into Alans hold. his concered face softens and a sad smile comes to his face as he tugs on your arm and you turn around, your head on his shoulder and hugging him as you sit between his legs, hugging him. he hugs you around the stomach and strokes your hair, kissing your temple, as the orange cat comes and lays down between you and Alan.
"its ok bambi" he whispers "youre allowed to feel sad"
~oneshot number quatro... its a little sad, but i think its sweet and everyone should have someone like that in their life. i dont. but im wired differently. it was the first storm yestarday, and it was very theraputic, but i loved writing this while listening to the storm. what are your thoughts about it? talk to me.
