Ever since I came back
You've been thinking about me
At least, I think that's why you're acting the way you are

You're quieter now
You smile more at me
You pay attention but don't verbalize your thoughts

You know when Im around
You cant help but pay attention to me
But you walk away
Or stay silent

I'm sure it's because of what we both know
That we like each other
More than friends
But in the end,
We aren't meant to be.

To the one I can never have.

  This is a barrier I know I won't break.
