"Mommy I'm hungry." I opened my eyes seeing Melonie standing in front of me with her arms folded.
"Where is your daddy? Go tell him. I'm trying to sleep." I groaned. August needed to be feeding these kids cause I was tired. I'm pregnant for crying out loud. Can I get a break?
Melione started stumping her feet. "He sleep." Ugh.
I rolled over on my left side with my back facing Melonie. I was hoping she would get the big picture, and leave me alone. I know she was only a toddler, and as a parent my responsibility was to feed her, but I was 3 months pregnant and tired. The least August could do is to take care of the kids and let me get some rest.
Melione shoved me again. "Mally get up." I slightly rolled my eyes. This little girl right here.
"Melonie stop calling me Mally, and go wake up your daddy." I said while keeping my cool which was getting hard cause she was really pushing it.
"Daddy say don't wake him up." Really August? Really? Lazy ass. I slowly got out the bed walking to the bathroom to handle my business. When I was done, Melonie wasted no time. She snatched my hand up into hers.
"Hurry up!" She shrieked, and I quickly put my hand over her mouth because the house was still quiet meaning everyone was still asleep. Before we went downstairs, I checked August's room only to find him and Jr. sleeping oh so peacefully. It was so cute because they both had one hand in their pants and the other under their face.
I stopped staring and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I found a note on the counter that read.

I made a mental note to text Ty later on and walked over to the freezer. I opened it scanning over all the food that was in there until my eyes landed on mini corn dogs. I took them out the box and sat them on the counter. I grabbed a oval pan from the cabinets then I ripped the bag open pouring all the corn dogs in the pan. Then I sat the over to 350° and put the timer on for 15 minutes and placed them in the oven.
"Alright the food will be done in 15minutes." Melonie nodded her head and starred at me. "What?" I asked.
"Can I rub the baby?" Melonhe's eyes left from mine and went down to my stomach. I was a little surprised because Melonie wasn't really excited about having another child around, but I'm guessing August told her it was a boy. I nodded my head, and she slowly placed her small hand on my stomach. She kept in the same spot for a few moments before she started rubbing it around.
"Can I kiss it?"
"Yes, you can kiss him." She removed her hands from my stomach kissing my belly.
I smiled at how cute Melonie was when she wasn't been annoying, and she looked up at me giggling. I scrunched up my eyebrows. Why was she laughing? I turned around coming face to face with August. He quickly pecked my lips and grabbed me by my waist.
"Whatchu doin' up, ma?" I rolled my eyes.
"Melione was hungry, and she told me what you said." August chuckled.
"I been on tour for a month away from my family, and I hardly got any sleep. Cut me some slack. Please?" August smiled.
I removed his hands from my waist. "I haven't got any sleep either. I'm pregnant. I need more sleep than you do."
"Aye chill out. I just woke up Ion wanna here that." August put his finger up to his lip telling me to hush, and I smacked it down.
He laughed once again. "You better stop acting up for I..." August stopped mid sentence and looked over my shoulder at Melonie. He leaned closer to me whispering in my ear. "You want the D? Is that why you acting like this?" August pulled away from my ear and looked at me awaiting my answer.
I shook my head and made a face like I was disgusted. "No."
"I can't tell."
"I said no August."
"If you want it, all you gotta do is tell me."
I pushed August back forcefully, and he stepped back a few steps not really being affected. I left out the kitchen heading back upstairs. I grabbed my purse off the floor getting my phone out and called Pizza Hut to order a large cheese pizza, a large meat lovers, cheese sticks, and some barbeque boneless wings. It was a lot, but I was eating for two, so it was well needed.
After about 8 minutes, I heard the timer going off. I headed downstairs and took the corn dogs out the oven fixing Melonie and Jr. a plate. I sat the plates on the table and told the kids to be careful because the food was hot and returned back to the kitchen to turn the oven off. August looked at me as I walked in turning the oven off.
"Whatchu eating?" He asked.
"Pizza."
"No you not." I looked August up and down about to respond but he beat me to it.
"Pizza ain't healthy for you. You need to be healthy not greasy foods."
"You ain't my daddy." I said with attitude. August grabbed my hand bring me closer to him.
"I am yo daddy."
"No you're not."
"That's not whatchu was saying 3 months ago, and that ain't what you gone be saying tonight."
I reached in August's pocket for his phone. I grabbed it from his right pocket and pressed the top button seeing he had a code. I looked up at him as if asking for his password.
"0415"
I typed the password in and unlocked the phone. I went to his contacts for female names. "Hm. Let's see." I continued scrolling until I saw 'freak hoe' I shook my head. Some name. I clicked on the contact and then went to text message.
I handed the phone to August and he arched his eyebrows looking at me. "You seem very horny, so I suggest you text one of your hoes and get some head or something." I patted August shoulder and smiled. He didn't look too happy.
"Why? When I gotchu to do allat and more."
"Alright if you say so, but don't be mad when you don't get any cause I'm trying to warn you." The doorbell rang, and I moved away from August and went to get my pizza. As soon as I stepped in the dining room, August had a plate. Him and the kids was eyeing my pizza.
"Ion know what y'all looking at."
"Meat Lovers!!" Melione and Jr. squealed at the same time. August took the meat lovers and gave the kids a slice and himself two. The fuck? This my pizza.
"Sharing is caring." August said as he smacked on MY pizza.
"You right. Is that why you got all them thots?" I asked slick trying to get under his skin, but it wasn't working. He just laughed at me.
"Nah. But that's why I take strippers out the strip club and spend money on them." I narrowed my eyes at him as he started walking off. This nigga really just said that. Hmp. Okay. I see how it is.
After dinner, the kids were playing in the play room, August was somewhere, and I was in my room chilling until August decided to barge in.
"Malenda." He called out, but I didn't answer him. "I know you ain't mad. I was just playing, and you started it."
"Whatever August. Go stand in the corner until you learn to grow the fuck up." I snapped.
"For real? That's how you feel?" August asked.
"Yeah. For real." August walked further into my room and then closed the door. I got up trying to open it, but August stood in the way smirking. "Calm down. I don't bite."
"But I do, now move so I can open the door. " August stood there not budging. I tried grabbing the door knob, but August grabbed both my hands and intertwined them with his. "August I'm not playing with you." I warned. I was now trying to escape his grasp, but he wouldn't let go. I sighed. I'm too pregnant for this. I was tired already.
"Just relax."
"I will once you get out" August ignored me and made an attempt to kiss me, but I bit his bottom lip not hard but not soft either. He licked over it with his tongue still smiling.
"You must want it rough?"
"August, the kids are in the other room unattended." I was trying to come up with a good excuse.
"If they need us, they'll come."
"August, let me go right now before I kick you in the balls." I threatened.
The smiled vanished, and I knew he was serious. "You better not. I'll squeeze ya nipples." I was trying to be serious, but that was funny. I laughed a little bit and got back into serious mode.
"I'll call the police on you for abuse and sexual harassment."
August shrugged. "Ion care. Plus, when I'm done witchu, you ain't gone be able to get to the phone." August bit down on his bottom lip.
"What do you want from me?" I groaned.
I was tired of the shenanigans.
"Come on na. You know what I want."
"Well too bad you ain't getting it from me."
"Daddy!" Melione called. Thank God. I thought.
"We'll finish this conversation later." August let go of my hands and opened the door leaving out the room.
Lawd! Help me that man is to sexy for his own good. I'm trying to control my hormones but it ain't easy. August keep playing with me I might have to give in.
