It's been three days with the stupid flu. Christmas is a week away and you've already had to do all your shopping online. You even had to cancel you and Finn's hot cocoa + ice skating date that was supposed to be tonight. It's getting really frustrating.
"I just wish we could be out, you know, doing fun couples things and enjoying the holidays. Instead I'm stuck at home sicker than shit." You say with a nasally rasp in your voice from your sickness.
"Babe, stop. You can't help that you're sick. Plus, it just means more time I get to spend with you." Finn says from the kitchen, making you some soup to help soothe your throat.
"You're sweet. But how are you not sick already?" You ask.
"Flu shot." Finn hands you a bowl of soup with crackers. "Here you go princess. Tell me if it's too hot. I'll put ice in it."
You take a bite. "Delicious. You're the best, Finnie."
Finn smiles and sits on the couch next to you. He puts his arm around you as you continue to eat your soup.
"Oh, when you're finished with that, it's time to take your medicine from the doctors. I'll get it ready for you." Finn pats you on the knee and gets up to get your medicine.
"Boyfriend of the year goes to you, babe. No one better." You say, finishing your last bite of soup and setting the bowl down next to you.
Finn brings the medicine to you and you gag at the sight of it.
"Okay babe, open up." He says.
"Ugh, no. Why couldn't I just have some pills?" You say, shaking your head.
Finn giggles. "Come on babe, you gotta take it. Otherwise you'll be sick forever and we'll never be able to leave the house."
You groan. "I don't wanna."
"Okay. Lets make a deal. I kiss you, and then you take the medicine. Deal?"
You roll your eyes. "Deal."
Finn smiles and gives you a big kiss on the lips. You blush and then take the spoonful of medicine that Finn gave you.
Your face makes a sickened face and you cough.
"Oh my god that literally couldn't be more disgusting."
Finn laughs. "Good girl. Here, have some water to get rid of the taste."
You drink the water up. "How many times a day do I have to take that?"
"Oh, just four." Finn says.
"Four?!?" You exclaim.
He laughs again. "I'm joking, I'm joking. Just once a day."
You playfully punch Finn in the arm.
"You're the worst." You joke.
"I love you." Finn says.
